Very nice place to stay overall, fantastic location on the quieter side of the river. Some lovely restaurants literally on the corner, and very close to major landmarks. However, YOU NEED TO HAVE MOBILE INTERNET IN ORDER TO OPEN THE FRONT DOOR / THE APARTMENT DOOR. We got e-sims for Italy, but the mobile data was pretty slow, so we had to wait a few minutes for the app to load in order to get inside. The signal in the area is also quite poor. It was ok with us but can't imagine our parents successfully navigating the check-in process. Otherwise, everything was great. 8/10 P.S. Also, just a note, you can't call a taxi directly to the building, as it's in a car-restricted area. Go to the Pitti Palazzo to get a cab.

Difficult to locate at first. Then you only access the building and apartment via an internet link that is emailed the day before, so you must have network access (eg an Italian SIM card) or else you can’t get into the building. 4 narrow steep flights of stairs to the room then again need to unlock the door via the email link. However, you don’t get cell phone reception in the stairwell. So someone needs to stay at the apartment door while the other goes back down the stairs, outside to get a signal to unlock the door. I’ve no idea what you’d do if you were on your own. 2 of the mattresses are so old you feel the springs digging into your body. The windows don’t close properly as the closing locks are broken, so prepare for noise (ear plugs are a must). Great shower (it’s new) and handy to have a kitchen. There’s no phone number and I had to call Expedia to get an email address to request access details. More negatives than positives. Would pay more and stay elsewhere next time.

Nuestra experiencia podría haber sido mejor. La limpieza era correcta. Sin embargo el equipamiento (utensilios de cocina y baño) era escaso. Las fotografias que aparecen el la web no se corresponden con lo que hemos encontrado. Las vistas sobre la ciudad no existen. Cuidado con los mosquitos. A nuestra llegada solo había una toalla grande de baño. Tuvimos que pedir más toallas, trapos de cocina, la TV y jabón para el baño. Hay lavadora pero no tienes ni un poco de jabón para lavar. En la cocina no hay nada (ni un poco de sal ni nada). Solo jabón para los platos.
