A really pleasant stay. You can see the brand wants guests to be happy. Lots of little touches. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful historical walk into the small heart of the city. I actually think the location is perfect as it’s calmer.

Great hotel near station for families

Great place to stay with the family - walking distance from station and excellent games areas to keep the kids happy! Staff were really helpful, lovely breakfast and fun/practical decor. We only stayed a night on this trip but would come here again and would recommend it to other families.

This place is nice and clean and gives you good value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free parking is right outside the entrance. It is however a bit of a walk into town. I wouldn't want to walk there alone late in the evening but it’s not too difficult to take the car and park there.

Good value hotel in reasonably convenient location

This appart-hotel is about a ten minute walk to the centre of Angouleme and the comic strip museum is nearby. The rooms are clean with a kitchenette and a shower room. Breakfast is reasonable for under 10 euros. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Altogether a good stay.

Great stay at Angoulême.

The hotel islocated in an old abbey but the inside apartments are modern, comfortable and clean. The kitchen and supplies are perfect for a simple meal and breakfast to save money if on a budget. The bathroom was spacious for European standards and the bed very comfortable.

Right across the river from the Musée de la Bande Dessinée! Requires a bit of an uphill hike to get to the center of town but there are also easy nearby bus stops to take you there. Service was fantastic, breakfast was tasty and the hotel is pretty neat. No AC though.

The hotel is conveniently located in the town centre. The staff were very welcoming. Although no on site was available for our visit there is a free car park just metres from the hotel. The room that we were given, although spotlessly clean was very dated. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat and there were no spares. Breakfast was excellent and varied.

The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are alright too. But the location of the hotel is convenient only if the purpose of your trip is to visit the Cartoon Museum, which is around the corner. To get to the old town, where all the monuments, museums, churches, and restaurants are, you have to walk up a steep hill for fifteen minutes.

The apartment complex is built with an ancient convent, which is very cool when you first enter. The hallways are clean and quiet, and our room really was spotless, as well as quite large. Even though our room was tight over a busy street, there was virtually no noise coming from the outside. The kitchen was very useful and we enjoyed some time sitting on the deck in the rear of the property. If you want to walk to the shops and restaurants, you will be walking straight up a very steep hill. The old part of city is at the top of a steep hill. We drove and eventually found parking. Good for the price. Staff were very nice!

La taille de l’appartement était bien pour 4. Le petit déjeuner était également bien. Par contre, l’appartement n’était pas climatisé et nous avons eu très chaud. Il y avait aussi beaucoup de poussières notamment dans les placards et le ventilateur. Pour le reste c’était bien.
