Perfect hotel with excellent hosts. Exactly what we wanted a very peaceful retreat. Breakfast was great, the hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Echo previous reviews stating a shower is required other than that would recommend to anyone. Will hopefully visit again.

An amazing place in an unspoilt part of Snowdonia. Quiet, beautiful and exquisite. Wonderful hosts and excellent breakfast.

Lauraine and Simon are such good hosts. Breakfast was amazing with homemade jams. Room is really tidy and you can have a bath on a Victorian tub. Really quite place away from town center. Had a really good rest. Will be back for sure

We found the owners,Simon amd Lorain very welcoming and attentive. On our arrival we offered coffee and Hot Cross Buns. The Hall was warm and comfortable and the breakfast menus were superb. All in all we had a wonderful tine in a verg friendly establishment.

Tremendous return visit

We first had the pleasure of staying at Penmachno Hall in 2015, when we planned another visit to North Wales it was a must to stay here. Perfectly situated to enjoy some of the local sites, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff - like a home from home. We will be back again!

Beautiful place

The accommodation at Penmachno Hall is of a very high standard and the hosts cannot do enough for you. The rooms are very comfortable and the grounds are lovely. Would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely rural boutique hotel.

The hosts are genuine and attentive. The area around Penmachno Hall was peaceful and relaxng . All the rooms are well dressed. All the little extras were there bath accessories, fluffy white towels, tea and coffee making facilities with real milk and nice ( for me gluten free ) biscuits. Staying here was a pleasure .

We stayed at Penmachno Hall for a long weekend break with the main aim of having a hike up Snowdon. We had the best weekend, made 100x better by the quality, hospitality and comfort of Penmachno Hall. The owners are up there with the friendliest people we have had the pleasure to meet, and their knowledge of the surrounding area and recommendations of activities to do made for a hugely enjoyable stay. The food quality of the bed and breakfast is top notch with a wide choice for breakfast. The room was cozy and extremely well equipped and refreshed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! We will be back!

You can visit 100 hotels, none of which will leave a mark in your memory, but this one feels like a real home of a real people with history and soul. Also, super friendly hosts, beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfast. Short drive away from the main resort town Bewts.

Exceeded our already high expectation!

Our stay was perfect! Our room looked even better in person than the photos online. The place was spotless. Our bed was very comfortable, and my husband and I got an excellent night sleep. The hosts are lovely, extremely friendly, and very helpful. They gave us wonderful dinner recommendations. Betws-y-coed is very close, and it is such a cute town to wander around in. We wish we had stayed longer than the weekend.
