Convenience to the train and bus station was the best thing about this hotel. We had a few day trips planned, so that was key. The room itself was a bit dark, but very clean and had everything we needed, including a washer and a kitchenette. Don’t expect service in this hotel, there is none.

Room was clean and staffs was friendly, they offer access to the onsen of another hotel (10 minutes walk) which belongs to the same group. Very near Takayama station and walkable to the morning market and the old town district. The only problem is with their air ventilation system, we constantly smell smoke in the room which coming off from the air vent, we have to open the door to let fresh air come in the whole night.
