Kitley House is magical. We stayed for 2 nights with two toddlers. The food was glorious, the staff attentive and friendly. The house itself is breathtaking. The rooms were well serviced and clean.
Hotel di charme bellissimo, un pò fuori città ma ne è valsa davvero la pena. Grazie

So la la
A very nice location and beautiful old building, a friendly service. Unfortunately, the rooms weren’t very clean and the bed not very comfortable. The steak was not good and expensive.

Zimmer war nicht sauber und sehr klein & einfach für Luxushotel. Bettwäsche hatte ein Loch, Teppich war schmutzig, Fenster hatte zwei grosse Vogelkot.

Staff excellent.
Facilities in process of being refurbished.
Bathroom cleanliness was poor - cooked breakfast was fine however continental offering very very poor
Stayed for a family birthday, hospitality was spot on, food was great in a fantastic setting. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the price was very attractive. Would stay again and also recommend.
Fantastic hotel and lovely and quiet and staff are very friendly and great breakfast with lovely fresh fruit and great fry up
Would recommend and will be coming back
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, bed was one of th comfiest we have slept in. Grounds are awesome with wonderful walks. Staff are very welcoming and attentive.
The only disappointment was the breakfast which had great write ups but was nothing out of the ordinary with supermarket sliced bread, and despite the menu description being plural the servings were singular!
Note there is no lift and stairs to the rooms.
Hotel & grounds are awesome. Went for lovely walk along edge of lake & River Yealm with historical points of interest & lots of birds....take binoculars! Loved hearing the owls at night. So peaceful there.
Staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful. Evening meal very enjoyable too.
Fantastic period hotel with lots of period features and beautiful grounds. Staff were very friendly.
Food in the evening was good and relatively inexpensive given the surroundings.

Incredibly welcoming and helpful staff! Staff were happy to help with photos of us at the dinner table to ensuring my uncle who is on crutches was cared for. Their courtesy and care was noted and extended to all.
The gardens and walks are beautiful and relaxing. We will never forget our incredible dinner gazing out the window to the gardens, while seated in the lovely dining room/library. In all it was an amazing experience and a truly breath taking place to stay that’s steeped in history. So lovely to see how Kitley House has been diligently cared for while keeping its charm and history.
Thank you from us all for a lovely stay! If only Australia wasn’t so far away!
We chanced on this wonderful hotel. The grounds, the scenery and the mansion was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will be going back again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Kitley and wish we could have stayed longer. Great room and comfortable bed. We also loved the garden and grounds - very relaxing and peaceful.
