Everything about our stay was wonderful. It’s perfectly situated, away from the crowds but still close to the main shopping area and trains. You can also find a mixture of local and touristy restaurants. The staff is very kind and helpful and speak perfect English. I think this is now my favorite hotel in Kyoto.

Fantastic hotel and 2 bed suite was amazing. We wish we’d booked longer. The happy hour was exactly what we needed, too! The free sake tasting and craft beer was so nice. We absolutely loved our stay at Mimaru. The room was huge for 5 of us. Having a washing machine and dryer was great. 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms was fantastic. The train station was very close and we were central to everything. We would highly recommend Mimaru Suites Kyoto Shiju.
