Really cute boutique hotel. The retro vibe is genuine. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The cafe serves up an excellent breakfast.
The kitchenette is a plus
Unique Art Deco era property, a bit overpriced for a weekend stay in May imo but would still recommend, nice rooms, nice restaurant and old fashioned diner, close to lake
Our room exceeded expectations! Everything was brand new and had everything we could need! Staff was professional and welcoming-hotel has a great location and good parking option.
We have enjoyed the Plaza Hotel now for the last 5 years when we discovered the diner inside. When we visit Milwaukee, we love coming here for breakfast. This was our first time staying and it did not disappoint. The room was pristine and perfect. The Plaza Hotel is well located and near all of our Milwaukee favorites. Parking for $15 the night was an added bonus!
Adorable property. Rooms were clean and well thought out. The diner was the highlight of our stay. Best breakfasts (we went both days!) we’ve ever had. Only slight complaint would be that the beds and pillows were not really very comfortable but we may just be spoiled!
Couldn’t be happier with our stay here. Reasonable cost for how nice the room and hotel were. My wife and I even said we wished we could find a similar experience every city we visited.
Beautiful hotel, room was great. Parking was affordable, and the staff was nice. The restaurant downstairs can get pretty chaotic but other than that it was great!

The rooms have recently been remodeled and they are so clean! The property itself is older and beautiful with so much character. Staff is also super friendly!
This is a beautifully updated historic building that holds on to and respects the deco details and charm. Hotel rooms sfeel modern and are clean ( seems updated since the last time we stayed here a couple of years ago) and the location can't be beat on the East Side of Milwaukee. The cafe/ restaurant is terrific, especially in the spring and summer when you can sit out on the patio; the staff who works here is lovely and very accommodating. I don't think there's a better place to stay on the East Side if you want charm vs a big chain hotel.
