Inconvenient TV / In Room Entertainment

The lack of basic TV channels was appalling and meant that if you did not have a streaming package you are no where. Certainly made it a bit boring and found myself using my DSTv Streaming and having to set it up which is an inconvenience.

The hotel is very well located. However the person at the check in provided a very poor service. He was almost rude in his demeanor to treat customers. He didn't even provide the wifi information, nor any information in regards to the hotel. The rooms are spacious, yet the coach was very dirty. It was a hassle to close the windows in the rooms as they have poor maintenance and one handle was almost broken. I had a room on the ground floor and the noise was terrible. For the same price or a few dollars more, you can find better hotels in very well-located areas of Johannesburg. I would skip this one on future occasions.

El hotel está en una de las 'mejores' zonas de la ciudad, pero en los alrededores no se veía un alma ni de día ni de noche. Es cierto que se puede caminar con cierta seguridad por allí, que tratándose de Johannesburgo ya es bastante. El diseño, como el nombre indica, se centra en el negro, y eso hace los pasillos y otros espacios comunes un tanto claustrofóbicos, pero los estudios están bien, limpios y amplios. El sistema de desayunos es bastante lento, bastante peor que el de otros hoteles donde estuvimos en Sudáfrica y que tenían precios similares o más bajos. El personal,no sé si por un problema de comunicación o qué, no nos trató con mucha amabilidad. Habíamos leído los comentarios antes de ir y, la verdad, esperábamos otra cosa.
