Because of our late train arrival the reception desk was closed. We had informed the property two days prior by email but it was not acknowledged. We were fortunately met by a representative who took us to our room. Lovely room but a/c didn’t work, fans only. :(

Espace et qualité de l hébergement. Emplacement pret du musee de la cordonnerie et du centre ville. Attention penser à mettre de l eau dans le siphon de l evacuation du lave linge.. pour eviter les mauvaises odeurs.

Très compliqué pour pouvoir s’enregistrer. Pas de communication visuelle pour réception. Numéro de téléphone pour contact sur application erroné. Pas de possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner sans avoir réservé à l’avance. Appartement poussiéreux. Huoneisto oli hyvässä kunnossa ja erittäin viihtyisä. Kadulta kuului yöaikaan hieman ääntä, mutta tämä riippuu täysin siitä mistä kohtaa rakennusta asunnon saa. Perussiistiä oli, mutta lattiat likaiset. Keittiö hyvin varusteltu. Vastaanotto oli haastava löytää ja henkilökunta puhui melko huonosti englantia, jos lainkaan.

Schöne Anlage in herrlicher Lage

Die Wohnungen sind sehr groß und schön möbliert. Leider sind sie aber auch sehr dunkel. Wir waren im Erdgeschoß und haben uns nicht getraut, die Fenster offen zu lassen, weil man von außen hätte einsteigen können. Es macht den Eindruck, dass die Anlage nur von jungen Leuten geführt wird. Leider sind sie damit total überfordert. Uns wurden die Hotelkosten zwei Mal vom Konto abgebucht. Leider sprechen die Angestellten nur ein sehr schlechtes Englisch, was die Verständigung sehr erschwert. Wir hatten ein inkludiertes Frühstück. Es war sehr schön außen vor dem Café zu sitzen. Leider war das Personal teilweise mit der Ausgabe des Frühstücks auch überfordert.

dommage que les stores n'aient pas été fermés avant notre arrivée. Nous nous sommes installés dans la location vers 19h30, après une journée caniculaire.* Un peu léger au vu des tarifs de location... Les stores étaient resté ouverts toute la journée, le logement étant situés sous les toits, la température dépassait les 30°.... la nuit fut difficile. Le petit déjeuner offert ne comprend qu'une viennoiserie et une boisson chaude, mais peut être agrémenté pour 4 euros de plus... je trouve la pratique un peu mesquine...

Personnel accueillant mais séjour décevant

Malgré la gentillesse et la qualité d’accueil du personnel, nous avons été déçus du rapport qualité prix. Avec près de 600€ pour 2 nuitées, nous étions loin des standards internationaux auxquels nous étions habitués. Pas de climatisation alors que nous concluions une semaine de canicule. L’étage de l’appartement était une véritable fournaise qui plus est, était soumis à un bruit permanent des moteurs de la VMC. Les rafraîchisseurs d’air disposés gentiment par le personnel ne pesaient pas grand chose au vu de la chaleur y compris dans la nuit. Le petit déjeuner compris dans la location était proposé a minima : une viennoiserie ou un bout de pain à tartiner. En Espagne ou en Turquie, pour une nuitée moitié moins chère, le petit déjeuner est nettement plus copieuse avec des buffets à volonté. Nous n’avons pas eu de chance avec l’emplacement (donnant pourtant sur le joli port de plaisance) nous avions essuyé toute la fumée de cigarette des clients de la terrasse du café situé au RDC.

Séjour Charentissime!!!

A l'arrivée pas facile de trouver l'entrée de La Corderie Royale bâtiments vraiment très bien réhabilités.Le déroulement de notre séjour : baignade, restaurants, croisière pour fort Boyard et l'Ile d'Aix des moments magiques, balade sur le port de Rochefort notre point d'attache. Heureux de notre choix.

The apartment was immaculate - an impressive modern build in an historic building. it’s important to be totally clear on arrival arrangements - we weren’t - the underground car park is through a gate on Esplanade Pierre Soumet. The reception is in the Annex building. Contact the staff well in advance or using WhatsApp as the old walls impede the phone signal. Breakfast is in La Piéce à Café … bread/pastry, coffee, juice. Plenty of venues for food and drink within a few minutes walk. Good value and we would definitely stay again.

Endroit magnifique. Très belle restauration. Directement sur les quais du port de plaisance. Accueil particulièrement sympathique malgré notre arrivée tardive. Attention, à ce sujet les arrivées sont payantes après 19h, un peu tôt à mon goût. Et c’est 25€/heure donc prévoyez bien votre trajet. En dehors de ça, rien a dire! Très bel endroit et très bon accueil
