Property as described, nice upstairs bedroom and terrance, staff friendly and helpful, louie or lewis on front desk was a nice guy and good for advice on area and getting around. Had a pool but never used it as a couple of minute walk to beach, good diner on corner and although quite at this area of town plenty of dining options nearby and only 15min walk to main area if preferred. Throughly enjoyed my time in miami and felt comfortable and safe in this area and property so enjoyed our time there

The room PH3 was beautiful, with a great terrace, and the location is phenomenal with many things to do nearby. Everything inside the room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials.
However, a few issues affected my overall experience. First, the check-in process was problematic. When I arrived, I had not received any check-in instructions or the door code. I messaged the property through the Expedia app but did not receive a response, so I went to the front desk for help. There was confusion about who I should contact, and it took about 45 minutes to finally resolve the issue.
Additionally, the stove was difficult to operate, and there were no clear instructions provided. During my stay, there was heavy rain and I noticed two leaks from the ceiling. I reported this to the host as well, but again received no response. I also hoped to request and pay for a late checkout if it was available, but due to the lack of communication, I wasn’t able to do so.
It’s a shame, because the property itself is lovely, and with better communication and support, the experience could have been much better.

Hi i’m actually looking to get a full refund for this stay due to multiple issues, for one the ac is 100% broken it was unbelievably hot in this apartment we actually ended up staying outside on the balcony due to how hot the actual apartment was.. another issue we continued to have was the front desk man standing outside the hallway just watching the door he continued to say there was noise complaints but there was nothing going on in my apartment for there to be a noise complaint on me or the people with me he was obviously very rude about the whole situation when told it could not be from us.. another thing was my checkout was at 11 and there was women inside the apartment trying to start the cleanup when i woke up at 10am we told them multiple times we still had an hour she continued to let herself in without anyone knowing 5 minutes later completely unprofessional and disappointing.
This is in THE BEST location for Art Deco landmarks, 2 blocks from best of the beach. one block from Washington Trolley, 4 blocks from the channel and South Pointe Park. It's above a top rated cafe,Maman, and right next to swanky Motek restaurant. It is an apartment building with 2 floors of units and the vacant ones get rented out like a hotel. The Elite Penthouse is in serious need of reinvestment. Little things like shower handle coming off (still usable) chipped and peeling paint, no counter lighting in the kitchenette, no counter space in kitchenette, burnt out light bulbs and I think dead batteries in the lower level thermostat so it was hot. The front desk guy was always quick to bring more sheets, towels and a coffee pot that actually worked. (the replacement was dirty but it did work....) The rusted shower head on the outdoor patio shocked us by working and we loved that for showering in bathing suits. but the drain didn't drain well. Broken furniture out there as well.
So if you are a camper and none of this wrecks your outlook on life, it's a sweet spot for less dollars. Bed was very comfy. Shower got hot water...we were happy.
