The room was spacious! The staff were super helpful and friendly. The staff member even waited with us until the Grab driver came to pick us up from the pick up point which is at other end of the block and helped us with our bags and luggage. Really enjoyed my stay in this room!

Great hotel. Would absolutely stay again. Friendly staff, clean facility, on a quiet street.
I booked two rooms, and both are very similar. Spacious, bright and clean.
Manager Max was great help.
I was also able to book Ha Long Bay trip directly at the hotel, so they were very helpful.
Because it's on a smaller street, you will need to wheel your luggage to the hotel, not very far.
Finally.... as of Jan 2026, Google Map has not updated the street view for Eli Rina, so you won't see it in street view.

Great Nrw Hoyel !
A newish hotel that is not too far from the old quarter in a quieter area with wider street and more local options so I highly recommend this and they gave me an extra soft mattress cover, which made this day so comfortable
Only stayed for one night but we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We were given snacks and a drink, check in was quick and easy and we were given a room upgrade to an amazing suite. The hotel and room was stunning and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend.

My stay and experience of this hotel is overall very good. Clean and and comfortable. The hotel is located in a neighbourhood, however it is usually quiet when it is nighttime. Be aware of the room is not soundproof so you can still hear things happening in the hallway and neighbourhood noise, but from my experience it was not that loud and did not last for that long. I can not comment on the breakfast option since I did not have it. However, in the same street there is a lot of local street food vendors so breakfast is easy to come by.

Excellent location with easy access to many top attractions. For instance, the Temple of Literature is just a few minutes’ walk away. The hotel is set back from the main road, making it very quiet, and it’s also exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of great local restaurants and cafés nearby. One example is a fantastic pho place just a short walk away, serving high-quality beef pho for only 50,000 VND. Overall, this is definitely one of the best value-for-money options in the city center.

Tucked away gem
The room was clean and nice for the price. Away from the typical tourist area. Relatively quiet. The hotel is in an alleyway so it's kind of tucked away and that may be a turn off but I didn't mind. I liked that it wasn't in the middle of s busy area. There were several shops within walking distance.

What an amazing find of a hotel. Nestled away in a back alley in Hanoi, this is old school charm with a massive tough of glam. The photos look EXACTLY like the actual property, which is always a good thing! Beautiful foyer, spacious room, friendly staff, solid wi-fi, good water pressure, comfy bed. It was close to perfection and at a price you won't believe. Don't be put off by it not being smack bang in the middle of things - the quiet neighbourhood is a bonus and it's a short walk to plenty of cafes and eateries. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property and rooms located in a quiet alley with several high quality coffee options.
Close to the Fine Arts Museum.
Away from the hustle of the touristry Old Quarter but within a short and cheap Grab ride to most things.
One of the nicest hotels we've stayed at room wise (great bedding, bathroom, peaceful, beautifully presented). Didn't have breakfast or any food at the hotel as there are some many options elsewhere in Saigon.
250-300k VND Grab ride to and from the airport.
Walkable to Train St if you are up for it or a v short Grab ride away.

This hotel is a little hard to find so communicate with your driver that it's in an alley. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and although there aren't many amenities included, there was so much to do around that I did not mind. My complaint is the cleanliness, as the included slippers smelled awful when we checked in and we had to replace it. The bathroom, which has an unusual lack of door/curtain, also has the tendency to accumulate a stench over time.

Ive read some of the old reviews before im writing mine. Yes, the jotel is in the alleyway. Its a bussiness alley like you find in many part of this city. The alley is clean and definitely not dark. For those who complained about employees "not so good English " Stay Home! Our room is spacious with a full kitchen and a washer. King size bed is comfortable and pillows aare nicr and firm. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We enjoy every minutes of our 8 days stayed. Will come again.

This is a brand new hotel only half year old! All of the staff from front staff, cafe, and housekeeping staff were all amazing! Great customer service! Easy communication through whatsapp. Room was spacious and clean. Good quality furnishing! Only complaints were that the air conditioning stopped working when the weather got cooler. And the bathroom doors were awkwardly placed and tight space around the toilet. They offered me room upgrade for a portion of my stay, the last few days of my stay. I like that they provided 4 pillows! And it's close to some great restaurants around the temple of literature.

Located a few Kilometres away from the tourist zone of Hoan Kiem, but around the corner from Temple of Literature and Fine Arts Museum and not far from HCM Mosuleum. Modern, clean and spacious and quite excellent hotel, friendly staff and my room was refreshed every day! Some great Cafes close by Adora and Aguri and the street eats are excellent also the Vegan restaurant down the road was a regular stop. The walk to Hoan Kiem Lake can be difficult amongst the maze of streets, but a Grab taxi is fairly cheap. Not many tourists around so you get a good local experience. The suite had a kitchen, microwave and stovetop and washer/dryer, everything you need! Very friendly area and not far from Train street. Had a 2 week stay there, just a bit of a long distance on foot from City Centre, but I learnt to prefer the local area more in the end. Thanks Eli Rina !
