Charming boutique hotel
My stay at this charming boutique hotel was very nice. It has a convenient location, with restaurants and a bank ATM just a short walk away. There is also a swimming pool in the hotel. My room was clean, spacious and quiet. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond, arranging a late night supper, an early breakfast, and even a lunch box for my travels. They provide an airport transportation, too. Highly rec!

This is a small family run hotel with great Tanzanian pride. It is clean, very quiet, with friendly staff. The hotel was down a side street and short narrow road. But our airport driver had no issues.
We took advantage of Brown. He is a tour guide thst took us around Arusha for 2 days. He handled all museums, lunch, taxis, and questions. He was much better than larger kayak or Travelocity tours. We walked 1 km down the road to embers restaurant if you feel adventurous. This experience allowed us to understand Tanzania.

Very basic, but clean room. No air conditioning. Located 1 block off of a very loud and busy street. We did not feel safe walking around the immediate neighborhood. Staff spoke very limited English, and communication was challenging.

Didas Villa was the perfect place to stay before our Safari. The owner, Fred, met us at check-in. We arrived kind of late and very hungry. He offered to cook for us or to drive us to a restaurant. He drove us to a wonderful restaurant called Amber. It was delicious with an Indian inspired menu. After dinner we called Fred and he came to pick us up. The hospitality at Didas Villa goes far above expectations. It was a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. The staff were all friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. Fred and the staff even surprised my mother-in-law with a birthday cake after we arrived back after a day tour. Definitely a great place to stay.

A beautiful and quiet place that has only been in operation for a short time. It's not easy to find, rather a little hidden. Access is via a small narrow bumpy lane. The staff are very helpful and courteous. Very good value for money. Even the breakfast is very good. I can highly recommend this hotel

Super cute common area and beautiful setting within the motel, however it was difficult to find in the dark and pouring rain. We also were driving a large SUV, so difficult to drive into the narrow passage to their gate, but we made it! Rooms could be much cleaner, breakfast was okay, but the staff was friendly and accommodating. Again, the common area is flourishing with plants and beautiful, they just need to communicate about location better and be sure rooms get thoroughly cleaned.

I don’t normally leave positive reviews, but Diddas Villa absolutely deserves one. This place is perfect—from the peaceful location to the beautiful layout, everything exceeded my expectations.
What really made the difference, though, was the staff. They are hands down some of the friendliest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and went above and beyond throughout my stay.
If you’re looking for a place that feels like a home away from home, Diddas Villa is it. I can’t recommend it enough.

Really nice hotel. Lovely relaxing atmosphere and nice clean rooms. The owner of the hotel is named Fred, and he is incredibly kind. He is very accommodating and showed us around the area. The hotel is within walking distance from the center, which is perfect, as it allows you to avoid the noise from the city. An ideal place if you need some relaxing days between Kilimanjaro and safari. A big and warm recommendation. Regards, Emil and Amalie.

The room would be better if it has an in-room refrigerator and safe. It didn't change clean glasses every day. I have to ask for bottles water every day. Hot water for shower is not consistently hot. Host is friendly and transportation to airport is very good and reliable. Breakfast can use some improvement except the omelette is excellent and you have to ask for it.

Good place for a short stay
We spent one night in Didas Villa. It is a small, 6-room apartment complex with very friendly and helpful management, next to a banana-plantation, with a fenced garden. It is a calm spot close to a busy road in Arusha.
The room’s condition was OK, the only problematic point was maybe the water heater for shower. Based on the size it wasn’t designed for showers, more like a kitchen sink. It took a while to figure out how to set it just right, so that it was still heating but the warm water wasn’t too much mixed with cold, so it ended up at least lukewarm. The other room had a different type of water heater that worked better.
Otherwise the villa is secure, well taken care of (lots of nice plants, etc.) and the breakfast had also plenty of choice.
It is at a good location, a big supermarket is cca 15 mins on foot.
Overall recommended.
