Helena Bay cottages

Fabulous views. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Has had a makeover since photos were taken and is much nicer than in photos. Loved having the swimming at the end of the drive and being in such a quiet space. Watching the boats all day was so relaxing and fun. Would love to go back.

We had an amazing weekend at Ellenglaze, amazing cottage and gardens, we will definitely be back!

We based ourselves there and found it was a good place to stay and go to the places we wanted to visit.

Perfect spot to stay in amazing Matapouri. The house is pretty well equipped for large family or group. Large garden and deck are entertainer’s dream. Our toddler loved toys, trampoline and swings. Highly recommended!

It was a last minute booking before we flew back to UK. What a find, super accommodation with all you need. A taste of the good life at the end of the road.

Lovely bach, excellent location. Would love to make a suggestion to have some pedestal fans available to use at night for sleeping, it’s such a nice warm bach but unbearable for sleep…….we wished we’d brought our own fans. Also Bachcare sent us the wrong lockbox code but we’re lucky they answered the phone with the first call and rectified the problem. Thankyou to the owners for renting out their home so people like us can have a summer holiday at the best location!!

Overall very good
