Very sweet hosts, cabin has all you need, you don’t really see the sea/beach from the cottage but it is nearby!

Thats an interesting comment re the sea. It does come right up to the edge of the grass at high tide and is very visible from the deck of the Cottage. I think your short visit coincided with low tide and the water does go a long way out and may not be so apparent. The cottage is only about 100m back from the waters edge at high tide.
Beautiful space, much larger in real life than in photos, and nestled in a beautiful garden/olive grove/trees! The hosts were very lovely and thoughtful in their welcome.
Beautifully clean, peaceful and very comfortable accommodation in lovely surroundings. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. We loved our time here.
The Bach is immaculately presented as well as the surrounding grounds. James and Sue are absolute legends and made our 10 day stay that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend the property and would give 10 stars of allowed.Once again a huge thank you to Sue and James for making our stay such a memorable one
James and Sue are lovely hosts. Their passion for the property and its history really shows. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay wasn’t too disrupted by two major phone and power outages that were beyond their control. A very relaxing environment — we’ll definitely be back.
We could not have asked for better hosts The place was just lovely to stay in and we had everything we needed . They went above and beyond for us and we even extended our stay ….

This family was a real pleasure to host. They were respectful, quiet, super clean and tidy and were able to enjoy the property and get out on the water.
Such kind, helpful hosts. Very obliging! Gorgeous setting! Very comfortable accommodation! Super strong shower-luxury! Made a special weekend even more special!
Clendon Lodge is a beautiful historic property, immaculate grounds and really well appointed accommodation. Lots of space and activities for kids to use and the perfect gateway to the islands. We loved it!
