Tarawera Forest houses

We had a great stay at Maureen's place.Everything was as described in the listing.Quite a few toys for our kid to enjoy.Fireplace was nice.Very tidy and neat.We'd be happy to book again!

Fabulous couple of days, the bach was well presented and had everything that you needed while on holiday. Great spot.

Just what I needed to get away on my own. Was beautiful and enjoyed the tuis feeding on the flax arms length away. I felt very safe as was in a secured locked area. The views were amazing. Would love to go again

Wanted to stay longer at this bach. Everything is great about this place. Well stocked with all cooking, sleeping and recreational needs. Neighbouring bach’s all great and locals very helpful with hints on local places to visit.

The Shepards Hut is absolutely beautiful and the bath was brilliant. Scott and Shona are very lovely. Thank you for your hospitality! You guys did a fantastic job on the place!

We had three lovely nights in the middle of winter, with the fire going and listening to the birdsong. amazing walks were close by, we could do as little as possible or as much as we wanted. our upstairs room with a view was my favourite chill spot.
