South Sri Lanka Coast lake rentals

We are a family of six who had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Ad Astra. Everything was perfectly organised from the moment we arrived, including a delicious welcome lunch. The villa has a menu with meals that can be prepared for you, or you can choose to shop locally. Nilanga, the Villa Manager, was fantastic—he arranged fresh seafood and groceries, organised transport, and even accompanied us on trips to help with translation. His calm, helpful nature made everything easy.The villa itself is beautiful, and the pool was a highlight—we swam every day!The staff were exceptional. Depika, the chef, prepared amazing meals. Sumana, the caretaker, and Nirosha, the helper, were always smiling, friendly, and attentive. Their warm presence made us feel right at home.Tanushka, the gardener, even climbed the coconut trees to bring us fresh coconuts!We also want to thank the owners, Jan and Agneta, who were incredibly responsive and helpful in the lead-up to our trip.It was a relaxing, memorable holiday, and we can’t wait to return! We stayed for a week with our family my wife and kids plus the grandparents and had the most relaxing and fun holiday! The house was perfect with plenty of space for us all and very comfortable indeed. The gardens were beautifuly looked after and the pool was immaculate! We enjoyed this so much! We played Tennis a few times as well despite the rains causing a few tricky patches on court!! Now to the best part! Pushpa was truly wonderful! such a lovely person who took care of the house and most importantly the exquisite food she prepared for us was a highlight of our stay! Thank you ! I must also mention the invaluable Rex of course he was always on hand to answer any questions and he took us out on some great adventures and in who’s company we felt very safe. Nothing was a problem for Rex! Thanks We would all love to come back in the future!
