Te Awanga mountain rentals

We loved staying here. There was everything we need but is often missing at baches. Well equipped kitchen, decent sized rubbish bin, comfy places to sit, lots of pillows and towels … and more. Really appreciated the thought that has gone into this home.

Relaxing chilled break in a beautiful part of NZ

We had a warm welcome from Gwen and look around the accommodation. Beautiful breakfast, decor and cosy to relax in. Checked in on us and closed our curtains in evening which was a lovely surprise to come back to after dark! Highly recommended!!!!

Looking to relax and chill out, and we achieved that. Wonderful property with a beautiful view of the sea and sunrises. Easy access to wineries, beaches, restaurants and everything else in between.

This was a great place for our short getaway, very tidy, comfortable and peaceful with everything we needed. It's a fenced property with a lovely garden and outdoor dining so was a perfect spot for us and our small dog both to relax, and as a base to explore more widely. Te Awanga beach is (of course) just a short walk away, Haumoana just down the road, and the Napier waterfront and CBD are only about 20 minutes away by car. So the property itself is great, and the location is also really handy. Our dog didn't notice but there was also a swing and in the garden and a small trampoline on the deck - which could be very handy for those with young kids.

The property proved perfect to accommodate family members coming at short notice to Hastings for a funeral. The variety of beds and spaces made it very convenient and the main living space and covered verandah with its big table enabled us all to share meals in comfort . The setting near the beach helped us relax during our sad time. Highly recommended.
