Property was very clean, comfortable and warm. Owners were very good at communicating during booking and if required during stay. The only issue for us was not having an oven. Would definitely recommend this accommodation as it was perfect for us attending a local event in the area.

This unit was a great spot for us to be near to Waitomo Village and explore the surrounding area. Great communication from our host and a lovely clean unit to relax in for the evening. Our USA visitor was also really excited to see the sheep and enjoy the view from the Sunrise unit. A great overnight stay.

Rock Retreat provided everything we were after: a beautifully built little house with everything needed, an amazing outlook in a healthy environment, and proximity to nearby attractions. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again down the line.
