Lovely Art Deco Historic home. Quirky art work. Great location. A beautiful, spacious house with everything you need, fabulous views of the river. Comfortable beds. Suited our group of 6. Easy communication with host. Will stay at again.

Our whanau stayed at the Verandah to attend our Kori’s 80th birthday. We had a large group staying so needed a big place. This property was awesome, it was big enough to easily accommodate us all comfortably, and we never felt as though we were tripping over each other. The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed to cook all our meals during our stay, so we weren’t having to eat out. Having young kids with us, we really appreciated all the toys and games that were available for us to use, the kids made good use of these and the large enclosed back yard. We stayed in winter and were delighted to find the gas fire place and heaters on when we arrived, so the house was really warm and comfortable. Finally, the host Kathy was brilliant. She was very accommodating, quick responding to any questions we had and a pleasure to deal with. I have no hesitation highly recommending this property as a great place to stay for your trip to Gisborne.

Lovely stay over Xmas, overlooking the pool from wee balcony. Unit has everything you need but quite small.

The setup was perfect for us, no problems, suited us well.The bookabach platform pretty much sucks though, I would not have been able to communicate with the owner at all if I had not got creative and found their contact independently - I would use bookabach again only as a desperate act of last resort.
