So happy with our choice to stay at 49 Steps. A gorgeous location and property. Perfect for a weekend away with friends. We all wished we were staying longer to enjoy it more!

We had three fantastic nights at Skylark will definitely be recommending it to our friends. Clear night skies in the hot tub were the best!

Wow! What a view from the balcony! It was amazing to arrive in time to see the sun going down over the water. We were met by Jane who showed us around the property, recommended some trips for our short stay, places to eat and walks - all were excellent suggestions. The Loft was incredibly well kitted out - tea, coffee etc, a cold beer on arrival, bathroom lotions, games, books… The morning kayak trip was fitted into a busy itinerary & much enjoyed. Jane kept in regular contact and helped out when a medical visit was required. The most difficult thing about our stay was finding time to relax and enjoy the beautiful property whilst also seeing as much as we could of what the bay of islands has to offer. It was all wonderful!

We just loved the house! So comfortable and the stunning views! Beautiful private beach for residents!
