Tavira Garden is a small exclusive holiday complex where all the apartments are privately owned and furnished to a high standard.

Because they are private we have to meet you with keys and show you around.

***Should you arrive after 19.30hrs there is a charge of €25 payable direct to the person who meets you.

WIFI.
WIFI-is available in the Reception, Bar and Restaurant only.
It is advisable to buy a WIFI device and subscription from the local VODAFONE shop if you need WIFI service in the apartment.

There is a full Portugese TV channel service plus SKY NEWS and a limited number of other English language stations.

The Gardens are beautifully kept with an impressive array of palm, carob and olive trees surrounded by an assortment of shrubs and flowers. It is a quiet and green oasis to enjoy with the family or relax and listen to the great selection of birds. There are two swimming pools, tennis court and gymnasium. The main reception area incorporates a bar and restaurant.

New terrace furniture/ umbrella holders/sun loungers/chairs now in place and new bathroom and kitchen, installed over the winter of 2024.
There is also an outside shower on the terrace in case you need to cool off.

Lovely Apartment with Large Balcony

Excellent property

This is a clean and peaceful place to stay, for me its ideally located in a quiet partly residential complex. There is a large mini market just down the road who supply everything if your solely self catering, and if you want restaurants, its either a thirty minute walk to the beautiful town centre of Tavira, or a taxi will pick you up for five or six Euros. We would definitely return again.

The apartment was clean and well appointed with everything that we needed for our stay. Smooth check in, Vikorya was very helpful and always on hand, highly recommend if you don’t mind the walk into Tavira. The terrace is in the sun all day.

Quiet location near Tavira

I was here in October and the complex was very quiet. Apartment is lovely - with a HUGE terrace. No wifi provided but I got a wifi hotspot from the Vodafone shop in Gran Plaza which worked very well for me. Porta Nova is not far away which has lovely cafes and some shops.

Very nice apartment with an absolutely fantastic roof terrace which was the selling point for us ,pool bar was an added bonus as well ,just ten -15 mins walk into Tavira town . Convenient

Ok walk to city center, some walk in the main road some hundred metres is some scary. You hear the trafic in day time, but it doesn't matter. The Tavira Garden is a great place, quiet, two swimmingpools and not much people. The terrace is the best 👍 sun untill 18 in the afternoon. The sleepingbed is not wider than max 150 cm, maybe less.

Style over substance

The apartment and terrace are modern and attractive. The location, due to poor walking infrastructure, is a challenge - my husband almost got struck by a car, so we began using Uber to get to town. There was no access to wifi, the heat pump malfunctioned, and we had to ask for blankets after resorting to using towels as an extra layer on the bed in order to get warm enough to sleep our first night. All in all we made the best of our stay but a few small changes could be made to improve the experience.

Great apartment - car possibly preferred.

Lovely apartment. Fabulous terrace. We are both 65 and managed the stairs ok, to gain access to 2 lovely pool areas. Bar staff at main pool were fab. Restaurant on complex is good and reasonably priced. A car is recommended as roads busy, and immediate pavement on N125 a bit uneasy to walk on for 200m until better path to town. We didn't see any buses, but used Porta Nova train station for day trips. Lovely experience - Went to Spain for a day ! Tavira is a bit of a way, but once past the N125 sidewalk, it's a reasonably easy walk into town. We got a taxi back.

Had no communication about check in etc up to 3 days before travel. I had to phone. Property was very poorly equipped compared to most we've stayed in. Walls were paper thin. Air conditioner from downstairs apartment was fitted on our terrace and was pretty noisy and irritating. A second a/c from another unoccupied apartment must make for quite a racket when operating as well. Apartment is right beside the N125 but personally the road noise didn't bother us. Toilet seat cover was missing on arrival but agent said it would be sorted in a day or 2. Still missing. No WiFi, or microwave, one white and one red wine glass. One lounger, metal outside table and chairs without cushions. Enjoyed holiday but apartment was disappointing. 20min walk into Tavira center.

Eine riesigeTerrasse mit Apartment

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in Tavira. Das Apartment ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen langen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Terrasse, auf der wir sehr gerne unsere Mahlzeiten eingenommen und relaxed haben.

C'est la deuxième fois je réserve cette établissement j'ai rien a dire très très bien équipés il manque vraiment rien simplement un micro onde si je devais mettre une notes 9.80 sur 10 . Très beau point de vue sur la ville de Tavira et l'Océan depuis la terrasse. Ce serait un bon point supplémentaire d'ajouter un four à micro-onde. L'équipement TV est un peu vieillot dans son ensemble, sinon tous les autres équipements sont en parfait état de fonctionnement.

Dejligt sted med kæmpe terrasse

Lille men hyggelig lejlighed, dejlig solrig terrasse med udsigt. Solsenge og parasolfod dog nedslidte og itu. En del støj fra den store vej der ligger tæt på lejligheden. I gå afstand fra den gamle by og floden som er et besøg værd.
