Just spent 4 nights at this lovely cottage.
Just spent 4 nights at this lovely cottage. The cottage was very spacious for the 5 of us and everywhere was very clean. Very high standard equipment with everything that we needed eg washing machine, dishwasher etc. The weather was pretty poor but the cottage was cosy to return to, and the log burner was brilliant. Laura was helpful with any queries we had, and left a welcome pack. Plenty of walks in the local area. 2 good pubs in the next village, and Kirkby Stephen less than a 10 minute drive away, Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would recommend Bluebell Barn. Rural Retreat
We had a very pleasant 4 day stay here. The property was perfect for our needs and has a fantastic view of the hills. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and lots of good, nearby walks this is the place to be. Laura was very welcoming and gave us lots of good information about the area. Would definitely return 👍🏻

This is one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in.
This is one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in. It was like a home from home as soon as you walk through the door you feel relaxed. The is plenty to do and see in the area and walks on the door step. This cottage is ideal for people who like to get away from it all and unwind. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We absolutely loved our stay here.
We absolutely loved our stay here. Laura, the lovely owner, was incredibly helpful leading up to our stay by answering several emails I had. She also very generously offered to take delivery of our grocery order the day of our arrival so that we had everything we needed upon our arrival (Sainsbury’s delivers to this postcode. Spots open up about 4-5 days in advance). The house was immaculate upon our arrival. I don’t think we’ve stayed in a cleaner cottage. The furniture is super comfy and the wood stove is a huge plus. All beds are very very comfortable and we all slept so well (make sure you claim the room with the view for yourself). The conservatory is a great extra space and a great place to read. The view from the property is amazing. The photos do not do it justice. It’s at least ten times better. The kitchen is very well-equipped. It has everything you need and more. We will definitely be back. This is a gem of a property. The location is ideal for exploring both the Dales National Park and the Lake District. Be sure to drive the Buttertubs Pass through the Dales. Probably the best views in all of England. Do it in both directions. The two pubs in Ravenstonedale are a must. Both have excellent food. Make sure you book. You can walk to Ravenstonedale from the village where the cottage is. Kirkby Stephen also has really good food and is only a few minutes drive.
