Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal base to explore Wainfleet All Saints, the nearby beach resort of Skegness and the historic medieval city of Lincoln.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil underfloor central heating included. Enclosed courtyard with garden furniture. 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 1 car.. Whether you are looking for a base to explore this area of the east coast from or simply somewhere to get away from it all and relax in the hot tub, then Kingfisher Cottage is ideal. Set close to the River Steeping, at the edge of the owners’ 80-acre arable farm, which guests are free to explore, there is the bonus of free river fishing within the grounds (license required). There is a shared tennis court as well to enjoy.

On the fringe of Wainfleet All Saints, and within a short walk, is a brewery which offers tours, an on-site pub and a bistro. Wainfleet All Saints is a quaint market town with an array of shops, pubs, restaurants and a railway station. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just 5 miles away with its lovely sandy beach and family entertainment, including the Fantasy Island Theme Park. The National Trust properties of Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle are within easy driving distance. Visit bird and seal sanctuaries along the coast, or take a trip to medieval Lincoln, with its famous castle and cathedral, just 40 miles away, across the scenic, rolling Lincolnshire Wolds countryside. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.. All properties: Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Access to owners arable farm. Hot tub for 6 (private). Tennis court (shared). No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only, no hen or stag parties. There is an unfenced river in the grounds, 22 yards away.

Just had a lovely stay it this cottage. Perfect base for us to explore. The property has everything you need for your stay. Checkin was quick and easy. Took our little dog with us who had a fab time. It’s a short walk to the village where there are a couple of pubs, take always plus a co-op for all your essentials. It’s a short train ride or drive to Skegness. It’s a lovely cottage the hot tub was a bonus too. Thanks for a nice stay.

Kingfisher Cottage was a cosy and well maintained place to spend the week. I can’t think of anything that the property was missing that we needed. We were looking for a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the south east, which this was. The hot tub is an added bonus. Overall I would highly recommend this cottage or any of the others on site, after a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We loved the hot tub too but felt it could have been a little more private as there are a few cars/people that pass by. Generally the cottage is well equipped - the cottage can get quite warm though so a fan would be a handy addition.

We came away over the Easter bank holiday weekend to enjoy a weekend without the children and we couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay. The house was done out to the highest standard they provided everything we needed and more from an iron, hair dryer to knifes and forks and everything else you could of thought about in the kitchen. Really really impressed with this little cottage and it’s surroundings the hot tub was lovely too. Hopefully we will sneak away again here for another break away without the kids. Really impressed that they allowed our little dog too. Couldn’t recommend more.
