Superb location steps from local pub/restaurant and cafe. Head out through the village to lovely walks and gorgeous views. The cottage is well equipped and spotlessly clean. There are step up/downs between some rooms which may not be great for small children and the bathroom doesn’t have a fan/vent which necessitates window opening. Overall we enjoyed our stay and this was a terrific base.
We had a very relaxing time . Everything was clean and tidy and the owner had made it very welcoming.

Thank you for your comments, we always aim to fulfil our guests expectations and it is really pleasing to hear back that this has been the case. We look forward to being able to welcome you again.
Great location, excellent place to stay. Couldn't be happier. Would consider staying there again if in the area. Only thing we could have done more of is kindling for the fire but that's a very, very minor thing compared to all the many positives
We had a lovely stay in Osmotherley. The property is in a great location for walks in the North York Moors and sampling the local pubs. Easy check in and comfortable stay. Nice extra touches on check in. The WiFi was intermittent throughout our stay and not always available throughout all rooms. Would benefit from some minor upgrades I.e curtain pulley in living room and some extras in kitchen (scissors/sharp knives)
Loved the house, the area ..only one negative.. the bath/shower,, scalding water for 5 seconds then freezing water for 30 seconds.. wasn’t enough hot water for one single bath, apart from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
No. 10 Westend is a spacious, comfortable and well-appointed 3 bedroom house in the beautiful Yorkshire village of Osmotherley. We stayed for a week and it felt like home home. Communications with the owners were excellent and they offered many helpful suggestions of things to do and places to visit in the area. The village of Osmotherley nestles below the Cleveland Hills on the edge of the spectacular North York Moors and has three pubs with restaurants, a fish and chip shop, cafe and general store. It is a walkers paradise and is within easy reach of historic York and Durham and the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review it is most useful to get feedback and we are very grateful. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and would look forward to welcoming you again. Kind regards.
Comfortable cottage in great location. Photographs make property look larger. An outside light on front door would help security and safety. Lots of instructions to keep dogs under control. Perhaps a stair gate would make life easier?
We stayed here for 2 months as we were between houses
Cottage was clean and comfortable
Location was perfect
3 great pubs and a fish and chip shop in the village a very handy local shop and post office
Highly recommend
We very much enjoyed staying in the cottage in the heart of the village. It was clean and comfortable. The only thing missing for us, as we had our dog with us, was a nice outdoor space
Our second stay at this cozy cottage. Great experience from booking through to departure. The cottage is ideally placed in the centre of the picturesque village of Osmotherly and provides everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. With walking on your doorstep as well as 2 pubs and a shop what more could you ask for! Book it. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you for leaving us some great feedback, we try very hard to ensure our guests have a most enjoyable stay in our very special part of Yorkshire. Thank you.
Superb property, clean and comfy. New sofa so better in the lounge . We did have to buy logs due to the weather for the fire. This is our second visit and we will be back.
Not many words required lovely cottage right in the heart of the village perfect. 2 pubs serving good food right on your doorstep what could be better. The cottage was excellent and great communication with the landlord if required . Would throughly recommend if want to be in centre of a village and great access to both the Moors and the Dale's.
Modernised cottage with everything needed for holiday. Comfortable bed but sitting room furniture needs replacing.

Thank you for you comments, its good to hear back from our guests, we are really pleased you found our property comfortable for your stay, and that it had everything you needed. Our new sitting room furniture is on order, with a rather longer than anticipated delivery, due to Covid, but will be in the property soon. Thank you and we look forward to being able to welcome you back sometime in the future.
This is a really nice cottage, perfectly located with very helpful staff.
The cottage has everything you could ever need and was spotless without being full of rules and notices everywhere. Comfortable beds, good WiFi, p,easy to outdoor area and convenient parking. Bathrooms all new and working well.
Osmotherly is perfect, great walks in all directions. Only small issue is that the Anglican Church has overly loud bells every single 15 minutes, inc overnight so take some earbuds if you are a light sleeeper.
