About this property
One of a kind elegant property for 6 with views of the Royal Palace.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROPERTY CAN ONLY BE RENTED TO PROFESIONALS THAT COME TO WORK IN MADRID OR COME FOR A PROFESIONAL REASON. THANK YOU.
Generous in its proportions, beautifully decorated, and with impressive views over the Royal Palace and the Plaza de Oriente, this stunning property oozes joie de vivre and will delight the most discerning travellers. Almost 300m2 of living space, cleverly distributed into a large living area and three large bedrooms providing the degree of privacy, comfort and facilities you would expect on a luxury holiday, whether you are travelling with friends or as a family.
Inside, the apartment is spacious, bright and well proportioned, affording warmth, a sense of balance and a classical atmosphere. The property's structural details are optimised to great effect, with its stately air, high ceilings, original wooden floors and magnificent balconies, with stunning views, and wooden inner shutters and surrounds.
All the rooms in the house are bathed in natural sunlight, providing the whole with a cheerful atmosphere, a sense of space and calm. Certainly a house to be lived in to the full!
A home for living and entertaining indeed. Access to the building is already imposing, the beautiful external façade leading to a large entrance hallway with marble floors, wooden carpentry, a wooden staircase with wrought iron banisters and wood handrail, and a lift. The building has its own personal caretaker.
And so on to the property itself, on the second floor, where the large hallway leads you to the rest of the house.
The living area has a dining room, living room and library, all communicated through generous open wooden frames which provide a sense of order and space. The balconies, with original white-painted woodwork and stunning views over the historic settings on the outside, share centre stage with the exquisite interior décor of aesthetic refinement, with touches of classical, modernist and French styles, and sumptuous textiles and upholstery. The result is a serene, comfortable and aristocratic atmosphere, a feeling of savoir faire, buckets of personality, and a nod to 21st century living whilst fully respecting the property's original classical essence, in keeping with its palatial surroundings.
The main feature of the dining room is a large dining table for ten, the perfect host for that perfect evening, in connivance with the Royal Palace which can be gazed upon as you dine. The living room has a sitting area and several charming reading corners.
The kitchen is spacious and equipped with all the necessary facilities for entertaining, or enjoying a quiet breakfast.
A corridor leads to the sleeping area, with two double bedrooms, both en-suite.
The master bedroom is set apart from the other two bedrooms and has its own balcony, a magnificent double bed, reading area with bench and two comfy chairs, a separate dressing room with wood-panelled walls, large wooden cupboards and a veritable ladies' boudoir leading to a full en-suite bathroom.
The second bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom, as does the third bedroom, which additionally boasts views of the Royal Palace.
There is a fourth room equipped with TV and a sound system, a sofa bed and work table. The perfect working space, a quiet sitting room, or even an additional bedroom.
The historic quarter of Habsburg Madrid is one of the city's main attractions. The Plaza de Oriente is part of a historical site comprising the Royal Palace, the Sabatini gardens, Campo del Moro and the Opera Theatre, all important architectural landmarks from the Habsburg era. The Plaza de Oriente opens the way to other sites and places that cannot be missed on any visit to Madrid: the Plaza Mayor, the Almudena Cathedral, Plaza de la Villa, calle Mayor or the Encarnación Monastery. Immerse yourself in culture by taking a short stroll, or a short bus or metro ride, to one of the city's many famous museums, or visit the "in" places, chic restaurants or shopping areas in Madrid's vibrant city centre.
Please note: Only the master bedroom and the TV room are fitted with air conditioning, the rest of the rooms are fitted with ceiling fans.
