Luxury 1 bed accommodation close to the beautiful Lake of Iznajar. Kayenne is set in a stunning village, with views to die for. There is a private roof terrace for Kayenne 1 only.
The bedroom has aircon which blows cool for the summer months or hot for the colder months.

The accommodation is set on the edge of a lovely village with Stunning views of the mountains. This is a perfect setting for exploring the beautiful cities and lakes of Andalucia.The apartment has been built with your ideal holiday in mind, peace and tranquillity at its best. Only 10 min drive from Iznajar and its beautiful lake which has 2 beach bar/restaurants. Centrally located for Granada, Malaga, Seville or Cordoba and only 90 min away from the brilliant skiing on the Sierra Nevada. The apartment has a lounge, dining kitchen with all the kitchen equipment that's neccesary to make your holiday perfect. A double bed, wardrobe and bedside drawers and aircon. A large bathroom with a power shower completes the accomodation.

Large pool, garden and plenty of terraces. the apartments are all well equipped with everything you could possibly need to have a great holiday.

All towels and bed linen provided.
Kayenne has it's own BEAUTY SALON on site, so if you wish to pamper yourself whilst here on holiday, just ask Kath for more details.


There is an excellent tennis club only 15 minutes away where you can have coaching with one of the top professionals.

Granada airport is the nearest which is about a 45 minute drive away. Malaga airport can be reached in approximately one hour (depending on traffic). Seville airport is approximately 1 and a half to 2 hours drive away. Car hire is highly recommended. Cars can be rented from any of these airports mentioned. Please contact the owner for further information.

The bungalows are set on the edge of a popular village. A 2 minute walk takes you to the local bar/restaurant which serves good food and the landlord speaks a little English

Great place to stay!

Kath, the owner, is a very nice person. She lives next door which facilitates communication. She is very helpful. The place is cozy. We enjoyed the pool. We would definitely go there again.

Everything needed was in the apartment. Kath is a terrific host and helps where needed. Whenever sunshine and warm temperatures are needed I would go again to Conde del Fuente. If you seek a base for trips in that area or if you simply want to digital detox, it is a calm place to charge the batteries.

Calm sunny place to relax

Kath is a terrific and great host. Very easy to get an answer if a question arises and yet lot's of privacy on same compound. Fuente del Conde is less than one hour from Malaga airport and beaches and totally calm. You find everything in a small grocery shop down the road if you cook yourself. If you don't need party life that's a wonderful place to relax. I will come back once again in Spain.

A slice of paradise

Our days at Kayenne were absolutely wonderful! The property is beautiful and well maintained and the stunning views reach across hills covered with olive groves and all the way to Iznajar. The owners, Kath and Kevin, who are absolutely welcoming and generous, helped us to get oriented to the village and the region. This is an ideal place to relax and to go on day trips to places like Granada, Cordoba or the "pueblos blancos". And after a long day there is always the pool! Beautiful and refreshing. It doesn't get better than that.

This quiet resort was amazing. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped as was the private terrace. I was looking for somewhere that would still have a pool open at the end of September and apparently this one stays open all year! Very clean accommodation, very helpful owners and well managed. Would highly recommend here if you're looking for somewhere quiet (although there is a local restaurant) as it is quite far away from anywhere with nightlife and shopping.

Perfect stay

This was a completely different holiday to our usual summer break. It couldn't have been better. Kath and Kev are brilliant hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, They have put so much thought into their holiday accommodation. The apartments are well comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The outside space is amazing. Our apartment had a private roof terrace which had amazing views. We had our own BBq and sun loungers and umbrella. The pool was a welcome addition , very cooling after extreme heat. We made use of all the comfortable seating areas which are available for guests to use. So there is full sun or shade at any time of day. We self catered and used the BBQ most nights. As the complex has a maximum capacity of 10 guests, it was quiet. peaceful and just what we needed to unwind. Thank you Kath and Kev for a brilliant relaxing holiday

Wunderschöne, gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit direktem Poolzugang, inmitten von Olivenhainen.

Fantastische, gemütliche und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit direktem Zugang zum Pool und Liegstühlen umgeben von Olivenhainen. Äußert freundliche und herzlichen Gastgeber Kath und ihr Mann, bemühen sich jeden Gast zufrieden zu stellen. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einem kleinen Dorf im andalusischen Mittelgebirge ca. 1 Stunde von Córdoba entfernt. Am Morgen und zwischendurch immer wieder mal wird man von den Hühnern, Hähnen und Hunden aus der Nachbarschaft "unterhalten". Die Ferienwohnung empfiehlt sich dennoch zur Erholung aber auch für Ausflüge in das sehr schöne Umland. Auch die im Ort gelegene Bar mit Restaurant ist sehr empfehlsenwert. Der kleine Supermarkt versorgt mit dem Nötigsten. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Quiet location with a lovely pool

Had a lovely week here in June. Quiet location with a much needed swimming pool. We stayed in the one bedroomed apartment and it was very clean and well equipped. The bar in the village is handy and serves some nice tapas and evening meals. Iznajar is only about a 10 minute drive away and has a few restaurants. We visited Antequera and stayed overnight in Seville which is just over 2 hours away, Had a very enjoyable week - thank you Kevin and Kath

It would be hard to imagine a more pleasant experience than our stay at Kayenne in Fuente del Conde in April 2016. Hosts Kath and Kevin made us feel at home immediately. Our two-person unit consisted of a combination living room/dining room/kitchenette, bedroom (two twin beds), and bathroom. Everything was in perfect condition. The shutters blacked out the light, silenced any noise, and kept the rooms cool, but, when opened, allowed light to fill the rooms most agreeably. I say "any noise," but the surroundings generated very little noise, and the clucking chickens and sporadic barking of dogs that we did hear only added to the charm of the village. We spent most of our time on the roof deck above the unit taking in the sweeping picture postcard view: dramatic rock mountains in the distance, the castle town of Iznajar to the left, and rolling hills and valleys covered with olive groves all around. Our stay began with one whole day and night of rain--totally fine with us since Spain can always use rain--but being from a similar climate in California we knew that when the sun came out it was going to be great, and it was: deep blue sky, bright sun, and visibility forever, with gorgeous sunsets the next few days. We enjoyed the roof dec so much we spent very little time in the lower grounds, perfectly tended, with an inviting swimming pool and more patio decorations all around in the Andalucian style, plus more pleasing views of the rolling hills. The village has a small supermercado that was sufficient to our needs; up the road the restaurant bar/local hangout is literally more than anyone could ask for so far removed from anywhere else. We took our morning coffee there on one of the open terraces, and dined there twice in the enclosed terrace on food much of which I have to think came from the local environs, if not right next door to the restaurant. Who would ever expect such a fine vacation rental snuggled so deep in the southern Spanish countryside? In this day and age of tourist overkill, it was literally a dream come true. Even our Madrileño Spanish friends had never heard of Iznajar, as much a worthy tourist destination, in my estimation, as any other in Spain, especially if you like places where the people seem to have figured everything out and are happy to share with you their satisfaction. Kath and Kevin, may the force be with you for picking such a pleasant spot in the world to share your hospitality.

Nearly perfect place to rest and enjoy.

Kayenne is a beautifull location, accomodaded with all you need: nice appartment, swimming pool, games, intimate places for breakfast and dinner, ... The owners are present when you need them and are very helpfull, giving advice where needed but not disturbing your privacy. Surrounded with mountains, olive trees, broad horizons it's a restfull place (be it that sometimes too many barking dogs disturb that rest ...). There's also a little supermarket and a recommendable restaurant nearby. Marvelous cities can be visited in one or more days: Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, and even Malaga is worth visiting.

Little gem in rural Spain

We have rented many apartments all over the world and this has to be one of the best. The position of these apartments are fab, easy to find, on a decent road, small supermarket in reach and a local bar across the road. The outside area is clean and well maintained. There are various areas around the pool to escape too if you need to escape the sun or change your outlook. The apartments are small but spacious which sounds strange. Very clean. Little extras thought of throughout the apartment. Comfy bed and lovely large bathroom with massage shower. Kath is fab, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely hope to return when in the area, if even just to say hello. I would definitely recommend to my friends, although I would rather keep this gem to myself.

Lovely relaxed and peaceful place with great views

We had a wonderful holiday at Kayenne, courtesy of Kath and Kevin who are lovely hosts. The pool and terraces are shared but the terraces are on different levels so privacy is easy. The village is very quiet and a car is essential, but the restaurant 100yds away is excellent. Highly recommended.

Countryside retreat

Lovely clean, well-equipped apartment for two with a beautiful big garden and pool; lots of room to sit, lounge, even cook outside with a choice of sun or shade according to the weather. It's situated in a pleasant little village with a shop and good bar/restaurant within easy walking distance; longer walks up into the olive groves also available. We heard nightingales on our way! Iznajar is a charming little town a short drive away. Highly recommended.

Relaxing rural retreat

Ideal location for relaxing and getting a taste of rural spain. There was easily enough space at the villa for 2 apartments, with a large roof terrace and pool area, with some stunning views. It's definitely worth paying the lake a visit (only 5 mins drive away), just head for Iznajar and follow the signs for the Yacht Club and drive right on to the beach. You virtually have the whole lake to yourself once into October! We would recommend a day trip to Granada and the Alhambra, but make sure you book in advance. Also there are quite a few bars for a cheap drink and some Tapas amongst the winding streets of Iznajar. The weather was just right for us, still plenty warm enough in October to sunbathe during the day, but it did get a bit chilly at night. Kath and Kevin were just the right level of inconspicuous; they were there when you needed them but not intrusive. If you want a traditional spanish alternative to the Costas, then this is the place, just don't tell everyone! P.S. Delicious Grapes

Hidden Gem

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute. A quiet rural location with stunning views. Everything was as described on website. The property was clean and well maintained containing everything you could possibly need. Owners Kath and Kevin were friendly and willing to help if required. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone who wants a quiet stress free holiday.

I am a true Yorkshire girl. I moved here from the Uk in 2003. I have always been a hardworker in the UK I ran 3 bars all at the same time. I keep the Apartments and all the terraces really clean and I also service the pool and gardens by myself. I was born in Barnsley in 1956 and moving to this cute little village is like the Uk used to be in the 60,s. Our Spanish neighbours are really friendly and helpful.

Why they chose this property

I was looking for a property with the space to have self catering Apartments. This house was ideal as it had an old building at the back of the house that was the old village hall. The apartments are private and away from the house with a seperate entrance. The views from the pool and terraces are truly amazing for a village. The splendid sunsets we get are different every night and I never get tired of looking at them. We had a wedding blessing here in our garden this year. We decorated it with flowers, bows and lights. It was a perfect setting for all our family and friends.

We are only 20 minutes from the Motorways so we are in an ideal location to tour the splendid cities of Andalucia.
