Charming farm retreat in the Santa Ynez Valley just a few miles from downtown Los Olivos.
Perched atop a hill, our stay offers stunning views of the Santa Ynez Valley and privacy, yet close proximity to town, shopping, and wine tasting.
Located on a ranch set amid sprawling oaks with a few farm animals to enjoy, including donkeys, a goat, sheep, and geese. Our chicken coop is nearby so that you can even enjoy collecting your own chicken eggs during the spring and summer.

Wonderful Stay

As always, a great stay at Westbrooks Farm! Have stayed several times and this is our ‘go to’ location. Our home away from home. Peaceful and convenient while closely located to outdoor activities, wineries and tasting rooms and amazing restaurants.

Perfect Weekend Retreat

Everything you could want for a relaxing getaway. This is an ideal location in Santa Ynez Valley, close to everything and yet away from traffic and noise. Highly recommend and would love to return!

Weekend Wine Tasting Get-a-Way

Have stayed here before. Love the location. Quiet, Off the beaten path but only 5-10 minutes into Los Olivos. Great little farmhouse. Perfect for a couple or two. Always love the fresh eggs from the chicken coup. Will be back!

Peaceful Getaway

Westbrook Farms cottage is the perfect stay for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the Los Olivos area. The unit is spacious with a comfy king size bed, well appointed kitchen and outdoor area. Both Leanna and her husband Ryan are welcoming and knowledgeable about the area offering suggestions on restaurants or activities as requested. We have stayed several times and always come back because of their hospitality, the cottage vibe, and proximity to the Santa Ynez valley wineries, restaurants, biking, and hiking.

Charming farmhouse stay in beautiful setting!

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay with all of the amenities we needed. Such a cute and comfortable cottage! We loved meeting the chickens and geese, and the eggs were a real treat, too! Fragrant lavender, jasmine vines, and other vegetation carefully planted in garden beds, pots and planters, further add to the charming environment. The bbq grill was also an asset. All in all, It was the perfect location for the many activities we enjoyed in the area. The only thing we wished for was a hammock or some chaise loungers to nap in outside!

Beautiful cottage

We had a pleasant surprise when we arrived. Our cottage was next to empty horse stables on the property, although one stable at the end housed adorable chickens and we had a couple of cats visit us as well. When we went inside the cottage, it was larger than expected and decorated so cute with everything we needed. The bed was also very comfortable. If you want to stay in the country but very close to Los Olivos, we highly recommend this cottage.

Farm Cottage With Comforts of Home

The farm is located in wine country near Los Olivos and Santa Ynez off the 101, making it a perfect launching point to visit nearby Santa Barbara/Ventura, Solvang, and the coastal towns up north. Ryan and Leanna were friendly hosts, who were available across the property if needed. Their guest cottage was roomy, comfortable, spotless, and well-maintained. We had so much fun interacting with their farm animals, and their sweet dogs greeted us every morning and evening, making us feel right at home. A fun and relaxing getaway.

2 day SYV trip

Perfect in every way. Clean, spacious, up-to-date, good communication, convenient to everything yet private and rural at the same time, amazing views (get up for sunrise and have some wine at sunset) and even some nice barnyard companions nearby. The hosts are incredibly helpful, kind and informative to the extent you wish to interact. I can't recommend this enough.

Hideaway

Lovely relaxing quiet stay! Excellent space: comfortable bed, sitting area and kitchen along with outdoor barbeque, even laundry facilities which were much appreciated as we had been travelling for a while. There isn’t a view from inside the space, but there are plenty of windows to allow for light and a couple of areas set up outside, one to take in the sunsets. Los Olivos, Ballard and Solvang a short drive away and we liked getting away from the downtown areas after cycling during the day. We will be back for sure!

Pleasant hilltop retreat

Well maintained hilltop retreat for two. However, the narrow and steep winding drive could be challenging for anything larger than a pickup truck. There was a puzzling lack of closets and dressers for clothes. The views would be great if there had been windows or comfortable outdoor areas where they could be enjoyed.

A Experience!

What a beautiful location at a reasonable price. Check-in process was very simple and great communication from the homeowners. At one point, we happened to meet the owners and they were extremely awesome. I absolutely loved the visiting and petting the friendly animals on the premises. We were approximately 15 minutes from Downtown Solvang and there's a great market about five minutes away. There is no doubt we will return for another visit. The location and its owners are a hidden gem in the Los Olivos area.

My Husband and I were very impressed with the farmhouse. The location is beautiful and the Sunset views were my favorite. Inside is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed meeting Leanna and her beautiful family. They were very welcoming and friendly. The suggestions and directions of local spots were helpful. We enjoyed learning about the mini donkeys and chickens. They were super quiet and friendly. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. I highly recommend staying here for peace and quiet. I felt very safe and comfortable. Parking was perfect, right out the gate. My new favorite getaway spot!

Sunsets were spectacular!
Kitchen is very spacious and clean.
Seating outside to enjoy the weather.

Perfect Santa Barbara County acation spot.

Everything was better than advertised. The pictures don’t do justice to the views. The neighborhood is beautiful and perfect for morning walks and runs and we loved seeing the animals. We will definitely be back!

Charming wine country getaway

Peaceful Cottage

Another wonderful stay! This is a beautiful property with proximity to Los Olivos, Ballard, and Santa Ynez. We enjoyed biking to all areas, shopping, the farm stands and of course, wine tasting. Loved the fresh eggs, quiet evenings and the star filled sky. We will be back - again!
