Charming, historic apartment with a view of the Duomo
Such a fun property to stay in! Spacious, two bathrooms, comfortable, and charming. We enjoyed everything about this apartment and had a responsive, helpful host. Great stay!
Edoardo was a great host. Very communicative and flexible. Let us leave our bags before and after check in. Apartment was clean and spacious and in a convenient location near the train station. Had a great stay in Florence. Thanks!

Close to the station. Walking distance to where we wanted to go.
Great apartment in Florence! Close to the Duomo and other Florence landmarks, this apartment was clean, well kept, and nicely decorated. It’s right across from the main market so local food choices are abundant.
Edoardo was a fantastic host, who met us when we arrived and helped us with the stairs (which were plentiful, and the only drawback of the apartment, but manageable and worth it!). He was very responsive and generally very helpful. The apartment was clean, spacious and in a fabulous location.
There is market and tons of restaurants right outside of the apartment and you can even see the Cathedral right from your window. The only downside is that there was a lot of stairs, but other than that the place was great! Everything is very walkable from the apartment!
This was a wonderful stay for a night in Florence. The apartment on the top floor is gorgeous. Views of the Duomo and the hustle and bustle of the market make it feel that you’re in the heart of the city. There’s lots of room and after staying in hotel rooms this was very welcome. We loved it here.
The apartment has a unique layout, great location in the heart of Florence. The host was very welcoming and thoughtful, lots of books on art.
Be aware that to get the great view of the Duomo from your windows you need to climb 6 flights of stairs - so pack lightly.
Great central location. Right across the street from central market with lots of food options. The property is clean and we’ll maintained. There are lots of stairs to climb to get to the top floor unit. Don’t book if there are any walking restrictions to anyone in your group
Yes, it is a fifth floor walk-up, but we were offered help with our bags and the space was great with a/c in two rooms and a fan in a third space.
The hosts provided some welcoming treats, and the description of the space and amenities was accurate. It was a really comfortable apartment.
Thanks to our hosts, who communicated and made us welcome. We would absolutely recommend this apartment.
We are 4 females, all in our 60’s and we had a great time.
The owner met us there, showed us around the house and made sure we were comfortable with everything. He was quick to reply every time we had a question.
The location was great, we were able to walk every where we wanted/needed to go.
We enjoyed the museums, markets & street musicians.
We were on the 5th floor with no elevator but we made it work.
Overall, it was a good stay. A warning first that if you stay here, you will be climbing 75 steps in a steep, narrow staircase from the street to the apartment. This was not clear in the listing. Not for anyone with health conditions that preclude climbing stairs.
The newly installed, updated air conditioner was too powerful and fried a plug while we were out. Owner was very responsive, but it was a hot night that first night. It was fixed the next day.
Great location near the Duomo and short walk to see the David statue.
Bonus is that the place is opposite the huge market building. You definitely need to go in there. Street vendors set up in the square and can be noisy in the mornings, so keep the front window shut at night if you want to sleep.
Overall, the apartment was spacious and is fine as long as you understand the situation going in.
We stayed for 1 day during our Italy vacation family of 4 - 2 daughters 12 and 14
The apartment is very close to train station- about 7-8 min walk . We had 5 bags but didn’t find very difficult to walk to the apartment..
It is located opposite to Mercato Centrale which is a large food court and shopping area , and also right next to street vendors selling leather goods and souvenirs and also many excellent restaurants
Apartment is located in 4th floor and there are 10 flights of stairs .. but the owner Edoardo was gracious enough to meet us during checkin and carry some bags for us .. he also offered to help during checkout but we had to leave early , so didn’t bother him .
He was also kind enough to bring some milk water croissants and juice , which was very much appreciated..
It is a rather old building and appliances are dated but worked well .
There are 3 rooms with double beds - one is a loft with an attached bath and stand- in shower .. but there is no glass door , only a cloth shower-curtain and water does tend to spill over to main bathroom floor after you take a shower..
Other bathroom in main floor doesn’t have a stand in shower , only a tub
One of the bedrooms is actually combined with dining area ..
Overall it was excellent experience, except for the inconveniences noted above .. the best part being the location and also the host being very responsive and pleasant to deal with .
would strongly recommend .
This was a very nice apartment just a short walk from the train station and from the Duomo. Great view of the Duomo and right on a big piazza with tons of food options. Our host was friendly and very flexible with us.
Nice place to stay with family. The market closes early, but it is awesome, so be sure to get your groceries to enjoy a home cooked meal on the road. There are some stairs too, but the view is worth it.
