Le Four à Chaux – Timeless Elegance Between Stone and Sea Overlooking the bay of Paimpol, Le Four à Chaux embodies the meeting of Breton heritage and contemporary art de vivre. This 19th-century manor, steeped in light and character, blends authenticity, serenity, and understated sophistication. Surrounded by landscaped gardens and mature trees, it offers an exceptional setting — the tranquility of a coastal haven just moments from the vibrant heart of the town. The GR34 coastal trail runs along the property’s granite walls, leading within minutes to the seawater pool of La Tossen, the historic Beauport Abbey, and the scenic Cliff Walk. Designed to accommodate up to twelve guests, the manor features six elegant bedrooms, including two expansive master suites, each with its own ensuite bathroom. In total, there are five bathrooms and six toilets, ensuring privacy and comfort for all. The light-filled drawing room frames a breathtaking view of the harbour entrance — a living tableau of sailboats, fishing vessels, and traditional tall ships gliding past. In spring 2026, the estate will unveil its new private wellness facilities, designed exclusively for its guests — a serene sanctuary of luxury and calm. Kayaks, paddleboards, and direct beach access extend the experience of refined seaside living, where elegance meets nature. The gated estate offers secure parking for up to six vehicles. Bed linen, towels, freshly made beds, and end-of-stay cleaning are included. A curated range of bespoke services can be arranged on request: • Grocery delivery prior to arrival • Daily or weekly housekeeping • Babysitting • Private chef, crêpe truck, or seafood platters delivered to your door • In-house massages, facials, yoga, meditation, and Pilates sessions All of Paimpol’s cultural and leisure attractions are within easy reach on foot: the weekly market, museum, arthouse cinema, summer concerts, the celebrated Sea Shanty Festival, and boat departures to Bréhat Island. The train station lies less than a fifteen-minute walk away. Set within a 3,000-square-metre landscaped park, the Manor shares its gated entrance with Le Hangar à Bateau du Four à Chaux (four bedrooms, 200 m²), yet each residence remains entirely independent. The entire estate (sleeping 22 adults) may be privatised upon request. Out of respect for the serenity of the setting and the comfort of its guests, Le Four à Chaux does not host parties or events, and pets are not permitted. Private property, no spaces shared. There will always be someone available to answer your questions or advise you! The property is in town in a quiet area, on the bay of Paimpol.
