Summary:
Villa Volpe is a 10 bedroom Lucca villa. Situated near Lucca in Tuscany, it dates back to the 18th century when it originally served as a hunting lodge. Set within vineyards and olive groves, it is a stunning villa which has been completely restored and renovated whilst maintaining the charm and authenticity of the building.

The Space:
Inside, this Lucca villa has 10 bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and all furnished in a typical Tuscan style with antique furnishings. The beds are modern and comfortable, whilst satellite TV is also provided in each room. All rooms also have individually controlled air conditioning units and mosquito screens.

On the ground floor of this Lucca villa, there are two living areas, complete with satellite TV, stereo system and WIFI internet access. Two computers are also provided for those looking to keep in touch online with friends and family during their stay. There are also two fully equipped kitchens, both with lounge areas and fireplaces. Also on this floor are 2 bedrooms both with ensuite shower rooms. One room can be made into a twin or a double whilst the other is a double bedroom. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The remaining 8 bedrooms are on the first floor of this Lucca villa. Four can be made up as either double or twin rooms and have ensuite bathrooms with bath tubs. A fifth bedroom is a double bedroom, also with ensuite bathroom with bath tub, whilst the sixth bedroom is a twin bedroom with ensuite shower room. The last two bedrooms can again be made up as either twin or double rooms and share a bathroom with shower.

Outside, there are spacious gardens and a private pool to enjoy at this Lucca villa. The pool measures 12m x 6m and is surrounded by lawns. Deckchairs, sun loungers, tables and parasols are all provided. The gardens are immaculately kept and in the Spring and Summer months offer an abundance of flowers.

A large terrace seating up to 20 guests is furnished with tables and chairs for al fresco dining and always seems to attract a gentle afternoon breeze. There are also 2 gazebos, one covered in jasmine and the other in vines, each offering shade for 10 people around a circular table. There are 2 BBQ areas to enjoy.

Also outside is an outdoor gym offering a variety of exercise equipment as well as a table tennis table.

This Lucca villa is set just 200 metres from the main road, but the location is completely quiet and peaceful, offering total privacy for those staying there.

Guests have exclusive access to the villa during their stay.

The Neighborhood:
Please note that rates at this Lucca villa include a twice weekly daily maid service (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Linen and towels are changed weekly. A complimentary welcome buffet is also included for stays of a week or more. The pool is cleaned daily.

Heating and air conditioning are an additional charge and are payable on departure from this Lucca villa based on usage.

A daily breakfast service can be provided for groups of 10+ guests. This is charged at 20 euros per person and must be paid for locally in cash. We can also provide additional maid service (18 euros per hour) and can organise anything for you from wine tastings to cookery lessons and from a shopping service to a chauffeur service.

If required, it is possible to open up 2 additional rooms in this Lucca villa to accommodate up to 20 guests in total. The additional cost is 50 euros per person per night. A 1000 euro security deposit is payable locally on arrival in cash but is refunded on departure upon the property being left in satisfactory condition.
