Relaxing and Enjoyable, all at your fingertips

Location was great if you want a quiet time. Staff was excellent. Very nice restaurant, shuttle to the beach and pool comes often. The room was great, clean and everything we expected.

The house itself was very nice, will say the master bath was a bit small or cramped to get into, but the rest of the house was very spacious. Pool on porch was beautiful, but was a bit cold to get into. You have to park down aways from the house, which made for difficult in loading and unloading stuff from the house to the car, and the closest parking lot a lot of times was full, so had to park in front of registration. Also the thermostat was pre-programmed and did get a bit warm at night and could not figure out how to turn the temp down. But again, the house was great and the amenities to it were nice. From a full kitchen to a great full size refrigerator, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of room

The villa provided us plenty of room to spread out. The view of the ocean, especially from the hotel pool is amazing. Lots of great places to eat nearby. Roberto’s or Marisco for seafood. Quick bite, pizza y mas. All are walkable.

Items needed

With six adults we were short toilet paper, paper towels. The towel situation needs face towels. The hardest part was the address. Three different GPS and we got lost, looking for property in the dark.

Hi William , I am always available vía VRBO , why did you nerver get in contact with me during your stay to get more toilet paper or everything else ? Mi manager came many times to see if everything was ok but each time nobody was at the house . For the adresse if you look for the Hotel Villa Sol Playa Hermosa Guanacaste, it is very easy to find but again you never contact me to help you Have a safe return !!!

Good place to stay

Loved the place, but the wi-fi was not working when we got there.Ronnie who looks after the house said he talked to ICE and it would be up in 12 hrs. But we had no wi-fi for all 8 days.

Villa Sol Resort

Villa is privately owned within the resort and was conveniently located to catch the shuttle bus to the beach. The villa was nicely layed out bit a bit dated. Hermosa beach was great and the restaurant next to the resort on the beach called La Casita del Marisco was where we ate the three nights we were there. Really close to Liberia airport that was much more layed back then San Jose Airport. Beach was great.

Great location in a beautiful complex, make sure you go to the top of the mountain in the little bus, it is free and the view is fabulous. Pro Great complex Beautiful deck with the pool outside Great location Cons The place needs a little love and care, maybe renovation, because it looks dated, but was very adequate for us. This is not a complaint. Internet was slow, but Netflix was working!

Lovely Relaxing Tropical Beach Villa

This place is just fabulous and I wish I could go back many times. We loved having 3 bedrooms so my stepsons could each have their own room. The high ceilings, large kitchen and private pool give the villa such a luxurious and comfortable feeling. We enjoyed the surround sound stereo and each took turns plugging our iPhones into it to share our playlists.. we constantly had great music playing. We watched some old comedy movies in Spanish on the cable TV and laughed so hard!! Our property manager, Ronnie was friendly and was there to welcome us and explain everything about the property. The Villa is part of a resort and the VRBO includes most Villa Sol at Playa Hermosa resort amenities which we took full advantage of! We rode the resort truck to the beach, pools, spa and laundry room. It was so nice to be able to wash clothes! Our driver took us to the Walmart in Liberia on the way to the Villa and we bought our own groceries and enjoyed having our own coffee, breakfasts and lunch. There is a seafood restaurant at the edge of the property called Casita Del Mariscos and the whole red snapper (Pargo Entera) is so delicious and amazing and affordable!!! We ate there 3 nights in a row. We made so many great family memories at this property. Nancy was very easy to get in touch with and answered all of our questions. The property is well kept and had everything we needed. Even though it was the rainy season, we had full sun every day... the sunsets were spectacular and the ocean water was warm and delicious to swim in. We were so very pleased. YOU SHOULD STAY HERE... you will have the best time...book it now!!!

Parfait pour séjour près de l'aéroport

Villa très grande (3 chambres à coucher), parfait pour accommoder les grandes familles. Propre, mais un peu vieillot. Convivial d'avoir une petite piscine pour nous. Très pratique pour les départs tôt de l'aéroport de Libéria (à 30 minutes). Sécuritaire puisque faisant partie d'un resort à accès contrôlé.

Beautiful Villa😍😍

It was quiet and peaceful and has an amazing view of Costa Rica. The hotel staff was amazing and I mainly loved the close distance to the beach! Even though there was a shuttle that drove us all over the property, everything was walking distance! To the Beach, stores, markets, bars, and hotel staff! I would recommend this stay to anyone. Great price, great location, and great food!

The space was clean and comfortable and the resort is lovely! We loved the whole experience!

This is a sweet villa with a lovely little pool and access to the beach, two bigger pools, fitness classes, and lots of activities for kids. We loved that we were the only gringos around and that most of the other guests were Ticos. Terrific experience!
