Great location! Place is clean but needs some updates to amenities like towels and a working coffee pot.

Potential to be a 5 star rating, great location, but needs some TLC. Mold in kitchen, and bathroom that could be removed easily. Needs improved sound proofing for the bedroom window as there was no noticeable difference between window open versus closed against the outside noise (again, easy to improve)

This place was in perfect location for us were in our 50-60 and we walked EVERYWHERE, it could be a little loud at night sometimes (bothered my wife more than me) The place really lacks just some Basic necessities that would make this VRBO. A easy 5 Star ! It needs more towels , sheets it’s hot and fresh linens after a few days is basic necessity , as for the kitchen it needs the most work. The kitchen needs to be cleaner and Isabella the owner/ manager please take $500 and upgrade the entire VRBO with basic kitchen needs to cook and towels and linens to help the guests have a awesome stay instead of just a good stay and so many things could be added to help make the Guest stay so much better, we have stayed in VRBO’s from London to Mexico and it’s not difficult to add the basic information and essential needs to make this place shine . I would highly recommend this place if you are into the kind of travel that we are! We just sleep and shower , coffee in the morning and something light to eat and at midnight a snack , we are up and out walking the city seeing the sights and exploring all day everyday, but Rome is hot in th summer so you sweat a little at night so fresh linens are necessary and that’s at least 2 showers a day some days 3 some more and nicer towels, menus from local restaurants, informative maps , hop on hop off bus info, I think everyone knows what I’m saying that is missing. It’s just the very basic small stuff that less than $500 dollars could fix and some small effort. Isabella could be difficult to get a hold of and I found that I had to translate all communication from her so I recommend downloading a app for this as I did. Overall this place worked for us and we jut loved the location as I think you’ve got that by now but if you need more than a shower , bed a place to make coffee, there is a mini fridge but cooking here would be a little challenging I think.
But again to sleep, coffee and a shower I would say book it !!! There is a very small washer that we did use but no dryer. Overall this place just worked for us but it’s not fancy by any means on a scale of 1-10 the basic Necessities rating is a three the location rating is a nine
The property was clean , air conditioner worked well. A little problem getting the code to units
Overall was a great experience! The only problem was that I didn’t get the code for entry to building and unit until I was there. Had to wait about an hour.. Two locals helped me communicate with host in Italian through What’s App. Other that that I loved the unit and the location was phenomenal!!
The property owner Elizabetta was very responsive and even coordinated our transportation from FCO. She was very nice to let me my friend check in early as her flight arrived at 8:15 am. The room was clean and organized and worked ok for us as we were only staying one night. Location was great! For me it hard to determine from the on line posting that is was a shared apartment meaning there were two rooms and a shared kitchen. We came home after dinner and the family was eating and drinking in the kitchen, it was a little awkward we quickly went through and to our room. We were planning on having coffee and relaxing a little before we went to our room. That would be impossible with as the kitchen is very small and there was no room. I would rent both rooms next time to insure more a private environment.

Hi Valerie, but I think you reviewed another apartment! My name is Isabella and not Elisabetta, my apartment is in Piazza di Spagna 60 and is completely independent for the exclusive use of the guest and the kitchen is not shared by anyone else because it consists of only 1 bedroom and living room with bathroom . Please edit your review, thank you, best regards Isabella
The apartment was perfect for our 2 night stay in Rome prior to boarding a cruise ship. It is convenient to the Spanish Steps, the Di Spagna Metro and Trevi Fountain. It is a very small apartment yet had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
Really enjoyed the cute little place. Was a great choice to be near popular Spanish Steps and with a gelato place right outside the door. A couple draw backs to be aware of include (1) noisy area at night, (2) tv remote had dead battery but tv has buttons on side (3) bed was only average comfort. The host communication was excellent and welcoming.
