Funchal Center is 10 min by car. Madeira Shopping Centre is 5 minutes by car. There is a bus stop just crossing the street. The house is in a great location: near Funchal and near all access roads to the rest of the island. From this house it is very simple to reach every point of interest. The TV has Neflix.

Three bedrooms: two with two single beds (2 x 90 cm = 1,80 m) and another one with a double bed (1,60 m).

Office with a sofa-bed (90 cm) and cable TV in TV LCD.

Two bathrooms: one with shower bath, sink, toilet and bidet; and another one with sink and toilet.

Kitchen: big country kitchen, completely renovated and fully equipped. No gas.

Living Room: The living room is fitted with a 5-pieces sofa, fireplace, DVD, WIFI internet, etc.

Dining Room: big dining table seats 12, 2 sideboards and other small tables. The dining room leads to Porch/Terrace and Garden.

A balcony with a sofa, a table seats 8 and wicker chairs. Also decks chairs and a garden where you can enjoy a great view of the sea, Funchal bay and the mountains. Perfect to enjoy sunbathing or alfresco dining.

There is space to park the car, safely inside the house.

Cleaning and linen change is done once a week. People with mobility disabilities can easily access to the house.

Coast/Beach
15 minutes by car from Barreirinha Beach Complex which is located near the Old Town and the famous Farmers Market - Mercado dos Lavradores. In Barreirinha Beach Complex you can access the sea, lay on sunloungers and use the changing rooms. The water is crystal clear. Other beaches as Clube de Turismo, Ponta Gorda Beach are 10 minutes by car. Madeira has mostly pebble beaches, with the exception of some black sand beaches and a couple of golden sand beaches (Calheta and Machico Beach) which you can access by car in 30 minutes.

Golf by car, Palheiro Golf is in 15 minutes and Santo da Serra Golf in 30 minutes.

You might like to take a ship day trip to the nearby Porto Santo Island and try out the new golf course.

The house is 10 minutes by car from Funchal Marina which has many restaurants and excursions to see dolphins and if you are lucky whales and turtles. Travel Funchal airport is about 24km from the house (20-25 minutes).

At the airport, you can rent a car, by taxi is more or less 30€ and there is also an Aerobus with regular intervals, that takes you to the Funchal Center: 5€/person.

Distances
You are quite near to Funchal downtown. By car, it’s 15 minutes to the Farmers' Market - Mercado dos Lavradores, Old Town and Barreirinha Beach Complex. If you visit the rest of the island, the fishing village Câmara de Lobos is about 15 minutes away. Other high spot villages are at the most 30-45min by car from the house.

There is a bakery, a pharmacy, some shops and a supermarket in the surroundings. Modelo/Continente Supermarket with car parking just 5 minutes distance. To discover Madeira at its best we supply you with some guides.

In order to provide a safe stay for you and your family, we make sure our cleaning standards meet the current needs of travelers. For these reasons we are taking the following actions: Hand sanitizer available in the property upon arrival Clean all our towels and linen with high temperatures and products that will kill 100% of germs. Change all our linen and towels after every stay. Use product to disinfect surfaces all around the property. Buffer days in between stays to make sure the property is aired and disinfected in between guests.
