Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. Enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Once an old apple store, Buzzards View is now a charming cottage full of character. With lovely countryside views from most of the rooms downstairs and sea views upstairs this property really is the perfect tranquil getaway.



This period property is filled with traditional features from exposed stone walls to natural beams, complemented by a modern and comfortable style. The thoughtful décor gives this unique property a homely feel while giving it’s guests a feeling that they are staying somewhere truly luxurious.



With both elegant bedrooms and the bathroom located on the ground floor, you can step from the spacious master bedroom with mango wood furniture into the garden and take in the morning sun. Walk upstairs and take in the open plan living, kitchen and dining area which create an incredible atmosphere to relax, with exposed stone walls and natural beams blended with modern and stylish fixtures and fittings.



Enjoy the sunshine in the private garden and patio area furnished with a barbecue, perfect for those warm summer evenings. The garden is fully enclosed, so why not bring your dog and take full advantage of this special family home?



The cottage is surrounded by fields which are home to Paignton beach’s donkeys as well as chickens, making it the perfect place for families with young children. With countryside walks on your doorstep, and the beaches of Slapton Sands and Torbay within easy reach, you will easily be able to take in the gorgeous scenery of South Devon when staying at Buzzards View.



Dartmouth and Kingswear are also nearby, where you can explore the lovely independent shops and cafés on offer.

Our fourth time at Buzzard's View, we love the location as it's quiet with great views of sheep, horses and deer in the surrounding fields; a little off the beaten track, but we don't want pubs & shops on the doorstep, yet only a 10 min drive to Brixham or 5 min drive to the Kingswear ferry. The owners are friendly, there if you need them but not intrusive at all. The kitchen maybe small but has everything you need. The large patio and garden face South West and get any sun available from morning to evening and are completely enclosed so the dog can sniff around safely. Take a torch though, as it's pitch black at night!

Lovely relaxing stay in a superb location, well located for Dartmouth and Brixham, plenty to do and lots of places to walk the dogs, in a very dog friendly area, gardens pubs and eateries allowing dogs in and making you feel welcome. Hosts very welcoming with welcome eggs etc. Would book again as totally enjoyed our stay.

Loved having the donkeys in the field next door to us, Pete who owned them even let our little girl help out with them which made her holiday! Loads to do and see in this area we wished we had booked two weeks instead of one. Hope to come back again one day.
