Amazing home from home accommodation. Perfect surroundings for your pet dog. Close to beaches and to shops. Loved our stay at The Red Barn.
Will definitely return.
The beautiful located barn´s additional advantage is that there are two rooms with separate bathrooms which gives privacy for teenage needs. Very great recommendation for all who enjoy privacy with a wonderful garden.
Red Barn totally exceeded our expectations. It had everything you needed and also, a lovely log fire. The tree large floor to ceiling in the lounge and the two bedrooms, had amazing views over the river and the estuary, to Crow Point. Luckily we had wonderful weather and in the evenings, we were treated to spectacular sunsets.
Our dog enjoyed himself! Outside the front entrance there is a secure patio for the dog. Additionally, in front of the patio, the owner has a large field, with a public footpath to other fields.
Located in Braunton is the William Arms. You can take the dog into the bar area. The food is excellent and home made, with a number of vegetarian options.

We had a lovely stay at The Red Barn.
We had a lovely stay at The Red Barn. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable, bright and airy. We used the local farm shop recommended by the owners which had a well stocked deli counter with some delicious flans and cakes. Also enjoyed a tasty Thai takeaway from The Siam Bistro in nearby Braunton. Ideally located in a quiet location. Would love to visit again during the summer months to enjoy the peaceful patio and garden.

A return visit for us to this warm, comfortable, high quality and very inviting hideaway.
A return visit for us to this warm, comfortable, high quality and very inviting hideaway. Just 3 miles from Barnstaple and with three fabulous sandy, dog-friendly beaches between 10-20 minutes drive. The Barn was spotlessly clean, important in these challenging times, but was also as welcoming as ever. Log burner warms the main room on cold autumn evenings, and the large patio is a sun trap for morning coffee. All in all a lovely, safe top quality property - we will be back !

The Red Barn was a great find. A cosy retreat that has everything you need and the owner ensures it well looked after. High standards throughout. It is situated in a quiet village (not Braunton as the listing states) that is a great base for exploring the area, a short walk and you are on the Tara Trail which is perfect for walking and cycling. We loved our stay.
The location of The Red Barn is ideal for exploring north Devon and is within easy reach of so many beautiful places. We took our dog who enjoyed having the small paddock to explore. The beds are comfortable, all mod cons and Linda (owner) on hand if needed. A really enjoyable stay...even in January!

Beautiful barn conversion in tranquil surroundings - our first short break since lockdown - bright and spacious and spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard, little enclosed garden area at the front which looks out over the field, very pleasant owner - a much needed break and we loved everything about it.

This was our first venture out after lockdown so we were cautious, but we had no reason to worry. The Red Barn was spotless and Linda, the owner, was available if we needed her but not intrusive in any way. We would love to visit again in the future.

We had a fantastically peaceful break in this superb ‘barn’. Linda was so welcoming.
Couldn’t fault any aspect of the place. Isaac my greyhound loved it. It was so good early in morning and late at night to be able to let him out in the enclosed area and enjoy the rest of the lovely garden with him at other times.
There is so much to do in the area but we mostly enjoyed the Tarka Trail, Braunton Burrows and around Woolacombe/ Mortehoe
where we visited relatives and further afield, Appledore and Instow.
Of course Squires fish and chip restaurant is a must for meal or a takeaway and we had excellent meal in the very dog friendly Williams Inn. Shall definitely stay again, excellent.
