About this property

Villa Mantis - feat. private pool and garden

The Villa Mantis is a two storey home, set at the rear of our property, well away from the road and enjoying privacy whilst still being in the centre of the village. The Villa Mantis three bedrooms - two large twin rooms on the ground floor and the master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom upstairs. Our guests seem to particularly enjoy the huge, vaulted living and dining space. The Villa has bed linen and bath towels provided (changed every 7 days). We can provide a full sized cot at no charge if booked in advance. We, the owners, are always available when guests are in the villa and can help with car hire bookings, advise on places to go and see, beaches to find and restaurants to visit. We see it as our job to ensure that you and your family relax and unwind and have a totally Greek holiday experience - our aim is to look after you and help you get the best of your time on the island. Then let Corfu do her magic and steal you heart...

We had a great 2 week stay at Villa Mantis. The house has loads of space to relax in, and the garden and pool are fabulous with lots of shade for hot Corfu days.Philip was a super host, he booked taxis to and from the airport for us, and left plenty of goodies in the fridge to get our holiday off to a flying start.The villa is located near lots of great restaurants and there are a few convenience stores nearby. We had a lovely holiday and were very sad to leave!

We had a wonderful week at Villa Mantis, cosy quiet home away from home with delightfulShady garden and verandah and small pool, and only minutes walk to the seafront. We spent a few days chilling on the beach (about 10 mins walk to great long sandy beach) and also some exploring the area.Philip was a perfect host and gave us lots of great recommendations both places to visit and to eat etc and further afield on Corfu as well. We would love to return. Thanks

We hebben erg genoten van dit vakantiehuis. De tuin met zwembadje is super. Ideaal gelegen: Dichtbij alle voorzieningen maar toch heel privé. Philip is een super gastheer. Hij heeft veel tips voor bezienswaardigheden, restaurantjes en andere leuke dingen. AANRADER!!

Wir hatten entspannte 10 Tage Aufenthalt in diesem charmanten Ferienhaus. Das Ferienhaus ist umgeben von einem wunderschönen Garten, welcher angenehme Schattenplätze bietet. 3 Sonnenliegen stehen zum entspannen bereit, zum Abkühlen ist der Pool sehr gut geeignet. Es ist sehr idyllisch.Im Ferienhaus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, die Zimmer sind liebe- und geschmackvoll dekoriert. Im Garten hätte man grillen können. Das haben wir nicht genutzt, gegenüber das Restaurant kann es besser ;-). Das Zimmer unter dem Dach hat eine Klimaanlage und ein eigenes Bad. Zumindest im Juli gibt es sehr viele Mücken. Das ist eine echte Plage. Das Haus verfügt jedoch über Insektenschutzfenster und outdoor stehen Citronellakerzen zur Verfügung, sowie Mückenspiralen. So ist man einigermaßen geschützt, wobei wir zusätzlich noch Autan gekauft haben.Der Vermieter Philip ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Er wohnt in der Nähe und steht mit Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants zur Verfügung. Auf unsere Bitte hin hat er sich auch um den Flughafenshuttle gekümmert. Ganz toll war auch, dass wir Getränke, Obst und weitere Kleinigkeiten im Kühlschrank für uns bereitstehen hatten. So konnten wir direkt in den Urlaub starten, ohne gleich einkaufen zu müssen. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar: Restaurants, Bars, Supermärkte, ein Stand zum Buchen von Tagesausflügen, Autovermietung. Zum Sandstrand kommt man auch zu Fuß.Wir hatten einen rundum-sorglos-Urlaub. Herzlichen Dank an den Vermieter!

Villa Mantis Korfu

Der Eigentümer Philip hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und hat uns bei kleinen Angelegenheiten oder Problemen immer geholfen. Die Villa liegt in einem hinteren Gelände und ist von außen nicht gleich einsehbar, was einen ungestörten privaten Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Restaurants und Strand sind in wenigen Minuten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Villa verfügt in der oberen Etage über eine Klimaanlage, in der unteren Etage sind Lüfter an den Decken angebracht. Wir haben unseren Urlaub genossen. Vielen Dank an Philip.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Villa Mantis

Our family spent 12 days on holiday in the beautiful Villa Mantis. Philip was a very good and helpful landlord, he gave us advice on excursions and restaurant visits and organized the airport transfer. The villa is lovingly furnished, nothing was missing. The villa's garden is fantastically planted and is ideal for relaxing. Everything was perfect and we would love to come back. Family H. from Munich

Perfect getaway

Villa Mantis was the perfect getaway for us - 3 adults & 2 teens. The plunge pool was very welcome in the recent heatwave - it was big enough for us all to have a cooling dip. There is a seat running along one length to sit and wallow. There are some beach mats, umbrellas and sand toys available to use. We spent most of our time in the outdoor spaces and made use of the BBQ. The garden is tropical providing needed shade - just pack some bug spray. The kitchen is fully equipped and as well as a welcome pack of fresh goodies there is tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, oils, salt, pepper and a few spices. The bedrooms are well proportioned with plenty of places to put your clothes. Philip was very friendly and helpful and was quick to sort any issues (we had a couple of things out of anyones control which were quickly resolved). He has lots of suggestions for places to go, restaurants, quieter beaches etc. The village itself is well serviced with tavernas, beach bars, restaurants and local supermarkets. Large supermarkets are a short drive away. Overall, a fantastic villa to experience a true Corfu beach break.
