Yes, the place is as nice as it looks. It is located close to the university district and in a neighborhood instead of the heart of the tourist district. This gives you access to better foods and the bus and train stations are in reasonable waliking distant. We enjoyed our time!
Location is just awesome. The store Alimentari Galli that is nearby is a wonderful place as well for just about any staple items including alcohol. The place is very clean and spacious. Our stay there was absolutely wonderful with all the luxuries of home. There are many Cafés nearby for a quick easy breakfast. Getting there from the train station is easy, but you should take a cab. Thank you so much.
After spending some time with loads of tourists in Florence, staying in the university district in Verona was a nice change of pace. Comfy beds though no coffee or any added extras in the kitchen so be prepared to get your own (but seriously-who wants to make coffee at home when you’re surrounded by such yummy coffee shops?!?). It was a very walkable location with lots of local eateries nearby and a slower pace than in the heart of the town. Don’t miss a chance to visit Jaitong Ravioli for a nice change and Robyz bar for excellent apperitivo.
At our arrival Eleanora was there at the agreed time to check us in and explain everything. We were delighted when we saw how comfortable and spacious the apartment was, and so spotlessly clean! The location is perfect for walking into Verona centre for sightseeing and shopping, and also convenient for local grocery shopping. Just one thing to be aware of for anyone staying here is that Verona taxes need to be paid separately in cash in addition to the total cost of the apartment. It’s not a large amount: when we stayed it was 2.50€ per adult per night and 2.00€ per person per night for under 24 years old, but somehow we missed this requirement when we booked and paid so it came as a surprise to us. In all we very much enjoyed our stay and would come back again and will be recommending to our friends.
