What a lovely house! It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The sauna was a bonus! And in such a beautiful location too with plenty to do nearby - we had an excellent stay here and hope to return one day :)

Lovely little house in a beautiful location. The house had a welcoming feel and was very comfortable. Everything we needed and more for us and our four children - ranging from teens to a toddler. A great walking location and with the bonus of a handy little village with shops, pub and a play area, we didnt want for anything. A ten minute drive to Windermere and Kendal, so really convenient for days out. We left talking about when we will book the place again! Thank you for having us at the Wheelhouse.

Wheelhouse at Staveley

A beautiful, clean, modern property perfectly located for days out in the Lake District. We were all very happy with the sauna and the large amount of board games available to spend fun times together in the evenings. The kitchen was finely stocked with all the pots, pans & implements you would ever need to do your own cooking. Would recommend anyone to stay here! Thank you for having us. :-) xx

The Wheelhouse @ Staveley

We stayed at The Wheelhouse for a long weekend Thurs to Fri for a girls quiet break away. From the booking process, the arrival to when we left we could not fault anything, the communications were excellent and the property is outstanding especially the sauna. The property is immaculately clean with all mod con fittings carried out to a high specification. Located in a quiet village - which suited us. It served as an excellent base for us to travel to all locations in around The Lake District without the hustle and bustle of staying in those areas. We also discovered some lovely local walks in and around the area and everyone was very friendly . A lovely get away retreat! will definitely be booking to stay again
