Charming holiday cottage on the island Møn within walking distance of Møns klint with direct access to the Baltic Sea. A total of 160 m² and it is ideal for groups up to 8 persons. The house is located on a considerably large lot including a large herb garden and a large field without any immediate neighbors. In connection with the house is a glasshouse (Orangery) which can be used to rest in and enjoy either lunch and / or dinner depending on the temperatures. The house has all the required basic functionalities - electritically heated and three wooden stoves as secondary heat sources.

This is one of our favorite properties we have stayed at. It was so charming and relaxing, and our family got to slow down and just enjoy the beauty of the area. On our last night we got snow, which was a big highlight. The listing didn’t mention that we needed to bring sheets and towels, and we only found out about a week before our stay and we were already away from home. It was a little bit of a panic, but the owner saved us and got us the items we needed for a small fee. I only wish it had been in the listing, but not a big deal!The owner has the best communication of any home we’ve ever rented. So quick and polite. We had the best time and I cannot recommend this home enough. My kids are already begging to go back!

One week in heaven

Tranehuset is a wonderful place and an incredibly cozy holiday home. With the large garden and the view of the sea, you don't need to go on long trips. Luckily Møns Klint isn't far either :) We hope to get the chance to come back as soon as possible.

Familystay at Tranehuset

We stayed at Tranehuset with our kids and two of their grandparents. It's been one of our most relaxing holidays. The house is perfectly located with a beautiful sea views and Møns Klint in walking distance. And as others have mentioned the place is very well equipped and beautifully decorated making it good choice throughout the year. Obviously we all would have loved to stay longer.

It was very nice. The House is so beautiful and spacious. Really lovely, especially the Orangey. You’ll find everything in there what you need. We can really recommend for a quite and calm down time, long walks, short trips by bike or car and also watching stars and the Milky Way lights. For sure well come again!

This was our second stay at Tranehuset. First time was for 3 weeks in august/september last year. This time we only came for one week, eben though it is a 1000km away. We enjoyed our stay in winter too. The wood fired ovens and the sauna made it an excellent holiday. See you soon :)

A very special spot in beautiful nature

We had 5 wonderful days in Tranehuset. This is the second time we went there. August is a wonderful month to spend in the house. At this time of the year you can enjoy the ripe grapes hanging down from the ceiling of the beautiful orangery. The garden - which is huge - is with sunlight all day long, and is absolutely wonderful and if you like tranquility, this is a place to stay. No cars, no sounds - other than the wind. Now and then we saw deers passing through the garden. We enjoyed swimming in the see and also going to Klintholm Havn nearby where we had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant ND122 one evening. Hiking in the nearby hills (Busene - Mandemarke bakker) is a must if you like beautiful nature.

Fantastisch uitzicht, zeer charmante plek. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Mons Klint en het geo center daar, mooie wandelingen/hardlooproutes in de buurt. Verder helaas rond eind augustus wat uitgestorven omgeving. Huis heeft fijne bedden en dekbedden en keuken. We vonden de schoonmaak echter zeer matig bij aankomst; afval nog in de afvalbak, vies doekje op het aanrecht en het rook er muf. Leek alsof er al een tijdje geen huurders geweest waren. De beloofde wasmachine konden we niet vinden. Badkamer erg oud en 1 slechts toilet, alleen in de badkamer.

Wir waren zu viert für 9 Nächte im Tranehuset Ferienhaus auf Møn. Es war eine der schönsten Urlaubsreisen, die wir je hatten. Ich kann für alle Gäste sprechen, 2 Paare, alle zwischen 40-50 Jahre alt, ohne Kinder. Der Check-in war problemlos und die Sauberkeit tadellos. Die Unterkunft hat wirklich alles, was man braucht und viel mehr. Angefangen bei der großen, vollständig ausgestatteten Küche mit Essbereich und einem schicken Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC, über das gemütliche Wohnzimmer mit TV und 3 vollwertigen Schlafzimmern (zzgl. weiteren Schlafgelegenheiten), bis hin zum fantastischen Wintergarten mit der Weintraubenrebe und dem wunderschönen Außengelände mit vielen Sitz- und Essgelegenheiten sowie dem tollen Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Dusche und Badewanne. Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschine und Trockner sowie einem 2. WC, einen Schuppen mit Fahrrädern und einen Grill. Das Grundstück erstreckt sich bis zum Meer, wo man nach 200m vom Haus einen privaten Strand findet. Die Insel Møn bietet viele Gelegenheiten für Ausflüge, Wanderungen und Freizeitaktivitäten. Ein Besuch der Kreidefelsen von Møns Klint ist Pflicht, ebenso die Orte Klintholm Havn mit einem tollen Sandstrand und Stege mit Shops, Restaurants und Supermärkten. Wir haben die 9 Tage auf der Insel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten des Ferienhauses und der Ausflugsziele der Insel rundum genossen und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wunderschönes Haus mit fantastischem Garten in absolut ruhiger Lage

Der Titel fasst es eigentlich schon zusammen :). Ein wunderschönes altes Bauernhaus in absolut ruhiger Lage mit einer guten Austattung. Dazu ein wunderschöner und weitläufiger Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Infolge eines Blitzschlags war der Herd in der Küche wärend unseres Aufenthalts leider nicht nutzbar. Der Vermieter hatte aber einen Ersatzherd (wenn auch nur zwei Platten) beschafft und uns hierfür im Nachgang auch Kompensation angeboten. Kleines Manko: Ein Teil der Matratzen und Bettkissen ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für sensible Menschen daher nicht uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Ansonsten war es ein phänomenal entspannender Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Natur pur

Grundsätzlich wohl eine der schönsten Orte auf Mön für einen Urlaub. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause, die Natur rundherum ist überwältigend, und zu Fuß sind unzählige Ausflüge möglich. Das Haus selbst ist wohl einmalig, der Wintergarten der Mittelpunkt, aber auch die vielen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten erlauben es mit mehreren Leuten hier einige Tage zu verbringen ohne sich auf der Pelle zu sitzen. Auch der "Wellness-Bereich" am Haus ist ein Traum, wirklich toll gemacht und wir haben es sehr genossen. Zwei Punkte möchte ich dennoch ansprechen: 1. Mehr Sauberkeit in der Küche wäre wünschenswert. 2. Bettwäsche sollte im Preis inbegriffen sein
