Centrally located in Oban with lovely views, this apartment has shops and restaurants on the doorstep, and many attractions close by.. All on the Second Floor:
Living/dining room: 42" Freeview Smart TV
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Set in a quiet location yet only a short walk away from Oban’s town centre, this well-appointed, second floor holiday apartment provides extremely comfortable accommodation for 4 guests. Having been completely refurbished in 2019, the apartment has been furnished to a very good standard and makes an ideal base from which to explore all that Oban has to offer. The apartment lies just 300 yards from McCaigs Tower, as the crow flies and has views over Oban Bay from its elevated position.
Oban has an abundance of shops and restaurants. The Oban Whisky Distillery with tours and a shop is well worth a visit. Known as the gateway to the isles, guests can easily take a day trip from Oban to Iona or Mull, and be back in time to sample the various culinary delights. There are boat trips available for sea fishing as well as permit fishing at many lochs including Loch Etive, Loch Awe, Loch Scammadale and Loch Melfort, where you can fish for salmon and trout. There is also a leisure centre, play park, tennis courts and bowling green within a short walk too.
The area of Argyll surrounding Oban has so much to offer all ages and interests. To the north there is the famous Hollow Mountain at Cruachan, which is home to a hydro scheme built deep into the mountain and a reservoir high above, a unique attraction for all the family. To the south is Kilmartin Glen, an area rich in historical legacy, offering over 350 ancient monuments to find and explore. The marvellous countryside, stunning scenery and sea views provide great opportunities to spot wildlife; deer are on the hillside, eagles soaring high in the sky and seals bobbing in the sea.
Argyll is fantastic for walkers and climbers with many hill and mountain ranges within the area. For cycling enthusiasts, there are miles of forestry tracks to explore. Coastal walks provide great bird watching opportunities, places to launch a canoe/kayak or try your hand at a spot of sea fishing. There are a number of local golf courses within easy reach.
