Reached by a private road passing the reception entrance to the Hotel Rural Almazara and Villa Roca Rara. Ample secure parking within villas large grounds.

Nice house

The house has great views and plenty of space, lots of nice eating areas outside. Debbie and Jo were helpful with any questions we had. Some things are a bit short for 10 people (nespresso machine, no table with 10 chairs), mosquito nets on the windows would have been useful to avoid using the aircon at night.

Great villa holiday.

We booked this villa to celebrate a special birthday and anniversary and it exceeded all our expectations. We had an amazing time in this wonderful villa in a wonderful location. The bedrooms were roomy, the beds were comfortable plus en-suites in the two bedrooms we used on the first floor. We also used the apartment, which, having access from inside the villa just felt like an extra space and not cut off. What a well equipped villa. The pool was well used, plus having an electrically operated cover was a real bonus. The journey into Nerja was no problem and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants to choose from. Just remember that the supermarkets are closed on Sunday so we certainly welcomed our welcome pack. Starting the day with breakfast on the verandah looking at the view of mountains and sea and then ending the day with a glass of wine was perfect. A thank you to Debbie who looks after the villa and was always available to help if there was any needed plus a special thank you to David for letting us use the villa. When we first booked and checked to see if there was a table tennis table, because there wasn’t, he arranged for one in readiness for our visit, how’s that for service! Thank you again. Lovely spacious villa with large private pool and great views

Las Fuentes is a spacious villa with a large, safe pool and great views of the mountains behind and the Mediterranean in front. We had a large family gathering of seven adults and two children that we had booked in March 2020 and finally got to the villa in August 2022, but it was well worth the wait. The villa is about a 10 minute drive to Nerja, with the famous Balcon and lots of restaurants or slightly closer is Frigiliana with great views down the valley to the Med and a little cooler on hot August evenings. both have excellent and varied restaurants. All the rooms in the villa are spacious with two exceptionally large en-suite master bedrooms, large kitchen and a very comfortable sitting room. The veranda is elevated and shaded and is a wonderful place to relax and look out to sea whilst the pool area is all fenced off so was very safe for young children. Lots of sunbeds around the pool and the table tennis is great fun. Every room (except the kitchen) has aircon which is great at night. The garden is also huge with an outside eating area which we used on a couple of occasions. The whole place felt very private and secure (fully enclosed by a wall and electric entry gates to the driveway. Would we go back? Definitely.

Fabulous house

We had a great week at Las Fuentes- great pool and table tennis for the kids. Well equipped kitchen and a proper barbeque area with fridge etc. Food at the hotel just down the road wasn't the very best but easy drive into Nerja where there are some really splendid restaurants. 👍

Villa Las Fuentes July 2020

Absolutely fantastic Villa. I could not fault it. I have been renting holiday accommodation in Nerja & Frigiliana since the 1980's and without question, this is the best in which I have ever stayed. It was an absolute pleasure. Privacy, comfort, cleanliness - fantastic. So much room for everyone. The garden was a pleasure to walk around, as a keen gardener myself. Absolutely beautiful and varied. Barbecue area fantastic also including outdoor fridge/freezer and bathroom/shower. Air conditioning - brilliant. Very thoughtful use of child gates around the pool and in stairwells. WIFI was very good as were all the audio & video options. The kitchen had all mod-cons including ice-maker. There was an automated water filter also which saved on buying lots of water. I find myself coming back to my own home thinking of things I need after having seen this Villa! No stone left unturned. The gardener was very courteous and respectful on his visits to tend to the garden. Very friendly indeed. A final word for Debbie who looked after the Villa locally and cleaned it for us. She provided all the information we required and was always at the end of the phone when needed. There was nothing too much for her. She was so helpful to us and so kind and obliging. She really made the stay enjoyable. I really cannot say enough about her and how grateful we are to her. Many thanks Debbie! Thanks again David to you for your help and your hospitality. We had a great time and we are already planning our return trip!!

Family Holiday 2019

We have just returned from a weeks stay as a family of 9 with ages varying from 4 years to 55 years, this villa had it all! During our week's stay in this beautiful villa, the family wanted for nothing. The villa was exactly as described in the description and so much more. The pool was where we spent most of our time and was the perfect size for swimming or playing water volleyball. The beautiful gardens were well kept (we had the pleasure of meeting the gardener who pointed out the various trees and plants he was tending) and the views from the upstairs balconies were fantastic. The villa was equipped for our every need and the extra touches like the fridge freezer in the barbecue area were really well thought out. The villa was spotlessly clean throughout with every amenity you could wish for to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Although their were 9 of us in the family, we didn't feel "on top of each other" as the design of the villa meant that bedrooms were situated on different levels of the building and with the numerous seating areas cleverly placed around the property, everyone could have their own space while still feeling like part of the family. We spoke with Debbie who looks after the property a couple of times during our stay, asking information about different things, nothing was too much trouble for her, she met my Daughter who arrived first and showed her around, even taking her to the nearest supermarket to stock up for the rest of the families arrival and came to say goodbye to us at the end our stay. A really lovely lady! The villa felt very safe and secure, completely enclosed for privacy and security. I would recommend hiring a vehicle for your stay however as the nearest shops, bars and restaurants are not in walking distance. Thank you David for allowing us to stay in your amazing villa, it was an experience we will never forget, we have made some amazing memories to last a lifetime and we would highly recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for a truly fantastic holiday. Great villa,nice and quiet with great amenities close to hand.

Lovely villa with lots of space. Great pool and facilities. Loved the village of Frigiliana, fabulous restaurants. You ideally need a car to get around.

I have worked in the UK travel industry for over 50 years. Owned some 20 travel agency and one of the first online booking travel sites which I sold to First Choice now part of TUI. Spent a lot of time in Spain and now semi retired purchased for the family use Las Fuentes a superior villa within 5 minutes drive to Nerja and 10 to the beach. Since the family have grown up and wish to travel further a field we have decided to rent the villa for a few weeks of the year.

Why they chose this property

Las Fuentes is a large villa with extensive grounds and gardens. In a quiet area at the end of a private road with just 2 other large villas in totally separated grounds. Whilst the area is listed as RURAL we are just 7 - 10 minuets drive to Nerja and it’s nearest beaches.
It’s extensive grounds with its orange, mango, avocado, peach trees and grape vines make it a ideal holiday villa.
