About this property

2 rooms:a 4 persons bedroom with en suite bathroom and a double bedroom with private bathroom. Two living rooms and a fully equipped kitchen complete the interior part. Outside you can relax in a very nice garden with terrace and private salted swimming pool (less than 10% of salt compared with sea water and no chemicals).
Casa Champasak consists of two floors. Each floor has its own garden and its own entrance (only the parking lot is to be shared). Our guests stay at the ground floor and dispose of a more than 100m² living area. We live upstairs.
You will find us at only 2 kms from Órgiva, a village in the Alpujarras which boasts a subtropical climate, situated in a valley on the south side of the Sierra Nevada.
The house is very good situated for hiking, cycling, mountainbiking or just relax and enjoy nature. Impressive surroundings guaranteed. The location is excellent for daytrips to discover the region. The city of Granada and Sierra Nevada ski station are at less than a one hour-drive from the house. The Costa Tropical’s beaches and the white Alpujarra villages such as Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira are at half an hour-drive.
Any questions about what to do, about the house, the village ,etc, we will be pleased to help the guests. We respect the privacy of our guests, so they will only realize that we are there if they need something.

Casa con piscina y jardin fantastica

La casa en si con una decoración preciosa, equipada con todas las comodidades, el jardin, barbacoa y piscina de agua salada, completan lo necesario para pasar una semana estupenda en familia. El dueño, Jerone, muy agradable, discreto y servicial, siempre dispuesto a subsanar cualquier problema. Un lugar para repetir vacaciones, sin duda.

Wonderful little oasis

We loved our stay in this beautifully clean home with a little oasis of a garden and fantastic pool. The house was furnished really well with thoughtful touches. We had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. The hosts Celia and Jeroen were really helpful and kind, great communication throughout and meeting us on arrival and departure. Would love to stay again!

We are Celia and Jeroen, living now in La Alpujarra, Granada province. We are a couple and are natural born travellers. We like to take our time and take it easy when travelling so we can get to know well the countries and cultures we visit. In Champasak we would like to reflect this kind of travelling into a stressless way of life which gives us the time to enjoy the little things in life.
With Champasak we aim to create a place where we would like to stay when travelling. A warm and pleasant place where guests feel right at home and are received with a smile.
After many years of wandering around, I return to my homeground Granada. Without a doubt an advantage for our guests, because I know the region like the back of my hand.
Jeroen is Belgian with an Andalusian soul, fond of salmorejo and step by step catching the typical southern accent. He is multilingual and feels fastly at ease in a new environment.
Well, we almost forgot: we met each other for the first time travelling, in a godforsaken village in the south of Laos on the banks of the Mekong. This small paradise in the middle of nowhere is called Champasak.
