Lou Recate is a fantastic holiday house, in a very quiet setting in a dead-end street but still within walking distance from the world-renowned Saint Remy de Provence (Bouches- du-Rhône region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur).



This holiday house was refurbished with the utmost care. Its warm interior is exceptionally delightful. You can enjoy a good barbecue or relax with a good book under the beech trees n the heart of Provence. Wonderful holidays guaranteed!



There is a lovely, round and heated swimming pool (diameter 8m – 1.80m deep – open from 01/06-30/09) and surrounded by a beautiful and spacious terrace with more than necessary and luxury garden furniture. In the fenced garden there is mood lighting.



Lou Recate is definitely a fantastic deal for those seeking relaxing holidays with many possibilities for excursions. Saint Remy de Provence is very well-known and beautiful, it is a typically Provençal town with many cultural activities, restaurants, shops, terraces,...

Fabulous property. No regrets. You should make it clear in your ads that the owners and management company for this French property are located in Belgium. The local caretaker/maid spoke French and German. She did not speak English. It all worked because she went out of her way to help us.

Beautiful property, property management subpar

We rented this villa for our family for a week. Beautiful both inside and outside and location could not be better. Communication was an issue. There were multiple situations where we needed to communicate with property manager and/or point of contact for issues that popped up — like broken pool pump that flooded pool shed twice. Both were slow to get back or did not respond at all. Also, property manager scheduled a repairman to come to villa to fix broken stove without letting us know. Repairman showed up while we were leaving to sightsee—this should have been coordinated with point of contact, but wasn’t —so we needed to alter our plans and stay while stove was getting fixed. Point of contact was called a couple other times—no return call or visit to villa when asked to help with pool and problem opening garage door. A few other amenities like laundry soap and garbage bags for a property of this class would have been nice too and was requested but denied by property manager.
