Relaxing Lakefront Retreat With Spectacular Views of Lake Metonga

The house is located on the quiet North shore of beautiful Lake Metonga. The house has the most stunning view of the lake. It is only a 5 minute walk to downtown Crandon, where you will find great little boutiques, gift shops and local eateries. The house is one mile from the Crandon City Beach and the public boat landing. You also have the option of riding your boat across the lake to Charlies, the restaurant on the south side of Lake Metonga. You will have the use of your own private dock from June through the beginning of October, weather permitting.

Our home is the perfect place for your summer vacation for hiking, biking, and lake life of fishing, boating and swimming. The house is in a GREAT LOCATION!!!

The deck provides you a great place to relax as an occasional eagle fly’s by or watch ducks and loons float along the shore. Our 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom home has contemporary decor and is fully furnished with all the comfort you need to have an excellent vacation. There is a new weber genesis II grill.

The living room features beautiful vaulted ceilings, corner stone fireplace, brand new furnishings and large windows making the space a lake lover’s paradise. The open concept living space, kitchen and dining room allow guests to mingle as you create a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen with all new cabinets, Alpine White quartz countertops and all new black stainless appliances. You will enjoy the incredible lake views of Lake Metonga from any area in these rooms. If you prefer some alone time you can relax out in the sunroom while looking at the stunning view of the lake.

The Master bedroom has a king size bed, with his and her closets. The newly renovated master bath has a beautiful walk in shower.

The second bedroom has one queen size bed. The third bedroom is located in the basement. It has a full size bed. There is a futon in the sunroom.

This is a wonderful place to get together with friends and family for a relaxing lake experience.

Lake stay

Stayed here while doing a jeep jamboree. Close to the casino which is where the event was held but a nice drive to a great cottage and lake. Did some swimming and fishing. Good time

We loved the lake! Close to boat launch. Easy walk to town. House was clean and comfortable. Nice having the grill! Quiet neighborhood. It was so pleasant sitting on the porch by the lake.

Very nice! The owners are/have invested a substantial amount of resources on upgrading the interior/exterior of this property…..well done. Property maintenance may want to address mice in the dwelling. We heard them at night and spotted one running along the inside wall.

Relaxing getaway

We had a great time! The house was great. Location was great. We rented a pontoon and the public launch was only 2 minutes down the road. We didn’t catch many fish, but everyone had a blast! The house was well stocked with anything we needed. My husband asked if we could do it again next year 😀 It was the relaxing getaway that I needed.

Weekend vacation

This is a beautiful home! My family stayed here, we have three children under the age of 4, they referred to the lake view as a beautiful “ocean” view. It was a lovely place to stay, clean, great room sizes and cozy. The owners are very respondent to messages and also extremely accommodating. I would recommend this location!

Oh Metonga!!

This is our second summer at lake Metonga and our second stay at this property! We love the well maintained home, the patio overlooking the water and the ease of having our own dock!!

Great Escape

Such a great property. Plenty of space and amenities to enjoy. All the rooms are a good size, the view is absolutely wonderful! The water is rocky but just recommend bringing some kind of coverage for your feet (which the hosts have some to borrow) and than it was a great swimming spot, otherwise the public beach is just a couple of minutes away. Such a beautiful and relaxing escape in the north woods.

Family summer lake vacation

We were able to have our daughter, her spouse and 2 children, and our son and daughter in law from Baltimore all together for a week of family fun. The cottage was a great place to relax, be together and just have fun. We boated, fished, biked, swam, paddle boarded, and more. The cabin has a great view of the lake. I might look for place with a little more privacy and a fire pit next time, but these were minor issues and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cabin to a friend.

Perfect Lake House

I stayed here with my boyfriend, sister and brother-in-law, and their three children. It was the perfect house for us. The water is shallow enough by the shore that the kids could play, and the dock was a perfect launching point for kayaks and a (rented) pontoon boat. Nicely decorated, thoughtfully outfitted with everything you'll need (including lots of extra towels). Enough room to spread out, and with the kids, having TVs in the two upstairs bedroom was a huge help. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lacking on extra bedding (sheets and blankets) for sleeping on couches

I am immobile and that made it hard getting into the house with no hand rails up the numerous outdoor steps. Went through garage to get upstairs but the handrail leading upstairs was also incomplete. Luckily I made it without falling. Then we had two young boys who slept on separate couches but could not find sheets or blankets that were listed on the contents of the house. So we had to use towels. Everything else was great. Beautiful view of lake.

Great house on Lake Metonga! Huge main living space and updated kitchen & master bedroom!

This was a great house! Wonderful view, large main living space, updated kitchen and master suite! Extremely clean as well. There is a pier there to use if you bring a boat and a public launch about 1/4 mile away. The house had a lot there for guests to use (roku's, Apple TV, blu rays and games), which came in handy since we had a little more rain than expected. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars, was we ended up not using the basement bedroom as it smelled musty and it really only sleeps 7 in beds.

Very relaxing with a great view

We rented this home for Memorial Day weekend. It was my husband and I with our sons. They’re 7 and 2. We really liked the open floor plan of the home and thought the view was beautiful. Because our children are small, we didn’t use the bedroom downstairs or the bed on the porch. The master bedroom has an office nook that was very convenient for us because there was enough space to make a bed on the floor there for our toddler. The home is in a nice location. It was a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants. The lake is crystal clear and you can see a lot of fish swimming around in it. Around the dock is sand bottom with some rocks. There were a couple minor issues that we reported to the owner and property managers and they were all very kind and helpful. I wouldn’t recommend this home to families with small children though because there’s no outdoor space, other than the driveway. There isn’t really a yard between the house and the lake. It’s just stairs down the side of the hill to the lake. We took the kids over to the public beach where they have sand to walk in and a swing set. But if we weren’t there, we just sat in the house and watched Netflix. The water wasn’t warm enough for swimming either, that probably would’ve made a difference for getting outside more.
