The Little Dolphin - 1 block to beach, quiet west end

The Little Dolphin has been our vacation home for many happy years and we are now sharing it with verified guests...recently remodeled- with a spacious front porch, outdoor shower house, patio area with table and 4 chairs and a state park grill adjacent. Cottage has all electric heating, cooling, cooking and hot water-this uber cool and welcoming space is perfect for small families (please note the house has SOME childproofing (cordless blinds in bedrooms, outlet covers and an anti tip bracket on stove) but may not be safe/suitable for your small children and infants), friends or business travelers. Internet and 2 smart tv's provided but not guaranteed Netflix and Amazon prime provided- but bring your codes for LiveTV and other apps) Crisp, clean and comfortable beds, sheets, towels and mattresses in a quiet secluded old Florida neighborhood (combination of full time residents, vacationers) will make you happy . On most nights you can hear the Gulf of Mexico from the front porch. The master bedroom has a king, the second bedroom two twins and the living room a queen sleeper sofa. Hypo allergenic floors (tile) and mattress protectors. Starter paper towels and toilet tissue provided. Shampoo , conditioner and liquid soap available from the wall mounted dispenser in the shower. The galley kitchen has a convection oven, microwave, fridge ,super quiet Bosch dishwasher, Keurig (small pods only), drip coffee maker (bring your coffee ), blender, pots , pans, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, glassware A commercial size washer and dryer is on site (bring your own detergent) . A beach cart with 3 Tommy Bahama chairs and beach toys is provided as well as a wheeled cooler for beach convenience. We also have 3 colorful oversized beach towels are provided in the hallway hutch Owner nearby. note: Sometimes we accept pets- must be small dogs only- less than 20lb and older than a year and not be an aggressive breed- with a maximum of 2- if accepted guest stands subject to additional fees. Rental periods of more than 28 days May be subject to a separate rental agreement/approval/background check. Stays of 28 days or more may require additional background checks. ALLERGY NOTICE- pets may have previously stayed at the property.

Great vacation spot

The little dolphin is such a quaint place right near the beach, it’s close to great restaurants and not too far from pier park. I love that the neighborhood was quiet and the folks in that community were soo nice! Would definitely want to stay here again!

Perfect location for family

Great fit for us and our family of 4. Area wasn't crowded even though it was a holiday weekend. The house, location, and the host were top level. Plan on staying there again!

Perfect beach cottage!

We stayed here for a girls' weekend. It was perfect for us - super clean and so cute! It was also convenient to the beach and away from all of the traffic and crowds, which is what we wanted! We'd definitely come back!

From start to finish, one of the best experiences I’ve had on vrbo, yet. Super communicative, very understandable and totally reasonable owners who took great steps in making sure we had everything we needed and that we were never wanting for anything. We would eagerly stay again.

Great cottage close to the beqch

The Little Dolphin was a cute cottage with everything you could need. Ours hosts were great at communicating and the cottage was so clean. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bed was comfortable. Short walk to the beach. It was perfect for our quick getaway. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Cute Cottage Super Close to the Beach

If you are looking for a cute beach cottage close to the beach (about a 3 minute walk) this is your place. It’s charming and clean. We loved not having to pack beach chairs and the charcoal grill in the back. Also, it was nice to have two restaurants in walking distance and about a 5 minutes drive to a few grocery stores. It has a cottage feel, so definitely for a small family.

Relaxing beach trip

This place is amazing. I love the peaceful neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. I appreciated the beach cart and chairs. Hosts were very attentive. Backyard is cute, a little inquisitive dog could escape under the fence (mine is rotten lol). The outdoor shower was probably my favorite amenity. I wish I lived here! I will be back.

Great beach place for a small family

We had a great time on our trip to the west end of PCB with our two kids. Everything was as adverterised, the place was very clean, and beds and linens all comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to use while there, and the laundry was helpful and convenient. The front porch was really nice to have as well. The outdoor shower was essential for beach days, and the kids loved it. Also, they had a beach cart with loads of toys, boogies, chairs and umbrella, so you don't need to haul all of of your own stuff if you don't want to. I was worried that PCB would too crowded and touristy for us, but certainly not this neighborhood - quiet and residential, family friendly. And very close to a beautiful, very deep beach that was never very crowded, which was the primary purpose of our visit. We also loved being able to bring our two little dogs. The hosts were very friendly and happy to give recommendations on activities and places to eat. There are a lot of kid friendly attractions nearby if you are into that. We did a ferry to shell island, which we recommend for explaoring or just doing a different type of beach day. We could tell that they care about the property, the neighborhood and their guests! We would definitely return in the future.

Great weekend getaway!

This is a great beach getaway. The home was clean, in a quiet neighborhood and just a block from the beach. The beach was not crowded and it did not feel very “touristy” which we enjoyed. It was also located close to rosemary beach and Alys beach, we road our E-Bikes all over the surrounding area. The owners were very responsive and also allowed us to check in early, which helped with the 1hr time difference from SC. We would love to come back again.!

The house was exactly as pictured and described. Quiet neighborhood, private backyard. A bonus was a friendly neighborhood cat who came to visit us daily. A short walk to the beach, and the homeowner supplied everything we needed, including a beach cart, two chairs, soft-sided cooler, and an umbrella. There were also sand toys and boogie boards, as well as a rolling cooler that we didn't use. Would stay here again.

We had the best time! The house was perfect! A short 5 minute walk to the beach which was made easy since they provided a cart and beach chairs! If you have kids there were beach toys as well! It’s a very quiet neighborhood! I had no problem walking my dog at night! I felt very safe! I couldn’t have asked more from the owners! Their hospitality was wonderful! They had bottled water in the fridge and a bowl of fresh fruit for us! I can’t wait until next trip! This is now our go to place! I couldn’t recommend it any more! 10 stars for sure!

Nice little classic beach house.

This is a really cool classic beach house that has been nicely redone and modernized. Its just enough out of the congestion of PCB but close enough to restaurants and beaches. We ate at Thomas Donut & Snack Shop and multiple seafood restaurants. Everything was great. We even rented a pontoon boot from Adventures at Sea and went to shell island. Great quick vacation trip.

Great getaway!

My husband, daughter and I came to town for a softball tournament. The Little Dolphin was exactly what I wanted. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do but away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded areas. It was clean and decorated nicely and just a short walk to the beach. I can't say enough about the communication between the owners and my family. Highly recommend!

PERFECT "EMERALD GEM" IN THE SAND

Y'all, this place was great. I loved the fact it was SUPER clean and QUIET, it smelt good inside, oh and private parking. I don't like being down in the "touristy" part of PCB (east side) and fight traffic. Our walk was super short to the beach and we took our wagon to haul our ice chest. The decor is updated and a very beachy feel. Numerous times I kept saying this place is so cute. The beds were comfy and the linens felt good and the pillows were fluffy. The kitchen comes will all necessities to make meals at your temporary home. Our kids loved the outside shower and wanted to shower here instead of the actual bathroom shower. We ate dinner on the front porch and grilled out back. Publix and Dunkin Donuts are only a mile down the road along with CVS. The communication was prompt when we needed anything. What impressed me most is we left something very valuable behind and I contacted the owners and the owner called me back and went to retrieve our left behind item. Now that's awesome.
