Welcome to Villa Stephanie, a beautiful, unique, large, and luxurious Spanish beach house with pool, conveniently located in the prestigious, gated neighborhood of Ocean Park, San Juan.
(THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, CLOSE TO OTHER HOMES.
SORRY, NO EVENTS ALLOWED.
NO BACHELOR'S, BACHELORETTE PARTIES.
NO MUSIC OR OUTSIDE NOISE PERMITTED AT NIGHT.)
Villa Stephanie is located 3 short blocks and a 5 minute walk from Ocean Park's beach, probably the best beach in metropolitan San Juan.
From the moment that you enter the house you will be captivated by its beauty, with all the attention to detail, thanks to a remodel by re known interior decorator Gretchen Daubon, making this one of the best and most luxurious available large beach houses in San Juan. The recent remodel includes a new pool area, landscaping , furniture, kitchen appliances, and decoration.The house has 6 bedrooms and 4 baths, sleeping a total of 14 persons max.The rooms are distributed as you enter the house follows:
1 To the right, on the first floor, a masters size bedroom with king bed
2 Also on the first floor, a room with a double bed.
These two first floor bedrooms share a bathroom.
As you reach the second floor after taking the stairs,
3 to the left, a room with a set of bunk beds sleeping 4
4 another room with queen bed sleeping 2.
These two rooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom.
5 Then there is a masters suite with king bed, walking closet, bathroom, and access to a large terrace overlooking the pool.
The terrace also has a nice siting area.
Downstairs, there is a formal dining room siting eight, kitchen, and a large family area with a comfy sofa, large screen tv and a round breakfast table.
The living area opens to a beautiful covered terrace thru glass french doors. The terrace has a large bar with surrounding stools and siting area which overlooks the pool and pool side cabana. The pool side cabana sleeps two and has its own bathroom which also doubles as pool bath.
The house is fully air conditioned, has fast wifi, and cable tv.It also has back up power generator and water cistern, very important in the tropics for continued power and water supply after tropical systems.
Villa Stephanie provides a great base for a beach vacation. However, it also provides a great setting to explore San Juan and the island of Puerto Rico.
Villa Stephanie is located close to numerous high quality restaurants to satisfy the most demanding palates.I will also provide you with a list of recommended restaurants nearby , in San Juan and across to Island for you to explore.
There are also several pharmacies, and grocery stores nearby.
In addition Barbosa park is 2 minutes walk away. There you have a jogging track, tennis courts,
kid play area and a police station.
The house is extremely well located only a 5 minute ride from the airport, 5 minutes to Condado and La Placita de Santurce with its multiple bars and restaurants, 2 minutes from Loiza street and its culinary row, and 10 minutes from the magic of Old San Juan.

Host interaction, checkin/checkout was great and we enjoyed our stay. However, we did have some problems with getting hot water, 2 of the toilets didn’t flush on the last few days and one of the air conditioners didn’t work. Additionally, the bedroom by the pool had a leak. To be fair, we did not report any of these issues during our stay as we did not want repair people coming and going while we were there. The outdoor space was wonderful.

This was a Four Day Guys Getaway. We enjoyed yourselves greatly. This property is made for entertaining. Our wives are jealous and insist on a Four Day Couple's Getaway right here!!!Hopefully by then the hot water situation will be resolved. We are looking forward to a return trip.

The host provided support when needed throughout the stay, answering questions and bringing a technician for an a.c. problem in one area of house (that we were not even using.) Appliances, tv's and facilities were good. Shower controls were a bit "tricky" but we had plenty of hot water. We did not use the pool, only because the weather did not watm it as much as would have liked. Kitchen was fully furnished and there were even some nice welcoming supplies. We did use the outside grill and enjoyed it.

First off the photo's don't represent the area that the home sits in or do the photos show the home in the condition that it is in. No hot water, warm at best, The outdoor bedroom has water leaking into the bathroom through the wall. The master bedroom has two spots in the ceiling that are taking on water and about to start leaking. Dishwasher doesn't work, dishes come out as dirty as they went in. A simple thing like outlet and switch plates need to be added in just about every room. Very disappointed in overall condition of the home, location and overall condition of the property. Certainly would not recommend this location to anyone

We loved our stay at Villa Stephanie! There was plenty of space to accommodate our group of 12 comfortably. We loved the outdoor poor and patio area! Villa Stephanie provided us with beach towels, chairs and coolers and has ample kitchen amenities for a large group! Ruben was amazing and responsive!! Gorgeous house, looks just like the photos. We all loved the pool and patio area. The hammocks were a lovely surprise. The pegs for damp beach towels were a nice touch. Ruben was very responsive to our questions and kept us well stocked with towels. The only concern we had was about having only one key to the gate to the beach, but we worked around that

Overall the property was great. Nice walk to the beach. Only 2 burners on the stovetop worked and oven worked only on convection baking. Had problems with toilet last evening as the handle broke. Having the washer and dryer on site was very helpful. Trees by pool with leaves continuously dropping made the pool area messy. Having only one key to the beach area was inconvenient at times. That being said, our overall experience was really good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa

When we came in we were received very well and given we some gifts by the host(luis). He then recommended some nice places to stay, the house was very clean and organized and the bathrooms were very well stuffed!The swimming pool was our utmost best chill spot, the setting was really beautiful and the water was warm. There is a nice beach that is walking distance from the house and the view there is absolutely stunning!All the 7 days we spent there we had a really nice time.

Had an amazing stay here! Ruben was great and the house was perfect for our group. Only complaint was difficulty getting Ubers bc of there only being one entrance in the compound. However, the house was very centrally located, quick rides everywhere we went. The pool and outdoor area was the best part!

Large house that was spacious enough for our group of 11. 3 bathrooms were appreciated. There is zero beach view but it’s about a 5 minute walk through a large gate you have to lock and unlock. While the neighborhood is gated, it is not the nicest. There’s a large trash dumpster right by the house. And to get in and out of the neighborhood is pretty confusing because there’s only one way in and out but gps doesn’t know that and continually took us to the locked gates. If you are sensitive to noise, seriously take earplugs. When I say the roosters crow, they crow day and night! And LOUD! A person across the street also washes their vehicle with a super loud compressor. I was a preschool teacher and can tune anything out, but those 2 noises were noticeably loud. There’s also maybe a frog or some type of creature that makes a very loud noise late night and into the morning. Pool area is great and it’s a great area to hang out in. The hammocks have a lot of mildew on them and should be cleaned or replaced so people can enjoy. Kitchen was great but is closed off from rest of house. Very modern looking place. If you’re getting the main downstairs bedroom with king bed which is by the front door (like I did) just know you have to walk a ways to bathroom and there is no mirror. We ended up using dining room kitchen to do our makeup and hair. A mirror added in there next to tv would be awesome! The desk could be used as a vanity. Host was very responsive and helpful!

Great property for a great price

Our family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed having enough space to spend time together, as well as quietly apart. The backyard, alone, is worth renting this house! What an oasis! Location is fantastic - just 10 mins from the airport. Only downside is the neighborhood has very mixed housing (some nice, some not) and bathrooms could be updated. But our family felt safe, had a blast and would absolutely stay here again
