Welcome to Villa Catalina, a beautiful, newly refurbished beach house with pool, just steps from Isla Verde Beach, selected by USA Today in 2016 as one of the best Urban beaches in the world.

(THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, CLOSE TO OTHER HOMES.

SORRY, NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED.

NO MUSIC OR OUTSIDE LOUD NOISE PERMITTED AT NIGHT.)

The villa may accommodate a total of up to 14 persons in six bedrooms and 4 full baths- 9 beds, 5 queen, 4 bunk beds.

It is in a perfect location due to;

1 proximity to the beach, only 1 minute walk.

2 proximity to restaurants, hotels, night life, bars, grocery store, pharmacy and shops, all within couple minutes walking distance.

3 10 min drive to any major attraction in San Juan such as Old San Juan, Condado and La Placita de Santurce.

The villa is fully ac'd, has good wifi, and cable tv.

It also has a pool, power generator and water cistern.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

Had a wonderful stay at Villa Catalina. The house was perfect for our party of 13. We made good use of the pool and nearby beach each day. The house was well appointed and the property manager was very helpful.

Backyard oasis

This house is beautiful and suited our needs perfectly. We had four couples staying here and there was plenty of room for everyone. From a mainland American perspective, the neighborhood is not very scenic, but it is close to two amazing beaches and many restaurants/bars. Despite being in an urban setting, the backyard is a tropical oasis. It had a lot of vegetation including a mango tree and a flamboyant tree. The coquis and other animals gave a good chorus. The pool and patio were perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed watching the planes take off at the beach but the engine noise is definitely in range at the house.

Family Vacay

This was a great place to accommodate 14 people, and call home for 5 days, the check in process was great the host had someone there waiting for us upon check-in, he walked the home with us, showed us where everything was, and upon check out was also at the home to make sure everything went well. Definitely the place to stay.

Host was amazing and attentive. Anything we needed - it was offered. I locked ourselves out first day - host was on it for us immediately. There were plenty of beach towels and beach chairs for all the guests - we loved being able to take a brief walk to access a couple of beach views. We also enjoyed being less than a block to multiple breakfast options each morning. The house is in excellent condition - but bring bug spray as thats just normal in this part of PR. We washed lots of clothes and towels in the provided washer/dryer in the garage. We loved our stay - I only wish the grocery store might have been within walking distance but we had a car [from the sixt less than a block away] and the grocery store was only 3-5 minutes by car. On one day of our stay we drove just a mere 7 miles away and explored a number of unique beaches and small roadside food stands on the way back to the house. Old San Juan was always just 10 minutes away by car to explore night life and unique food options. There is much to offer but you probably need to have a rental care to explore it all.

We had a great time at the Isla Verde property. It’s a beautiful home that’s extremely close to the beach. Ruben the manager was extremely responsive and flexible with our group. We will be back.

Wonderful House

Had a wonderful time, nice proximity to beach, restaurants and grocery store. Very comfortable house for our family of 6 adults. Great pool and outdoor living.

Amazing!

This property is amazing! We had 14 people stay (7 adults and 7 kids) and we were never cramped. The open living room, kitchen, dining area was a great place to hang out, but then we could escape to our room for privacy. The pool area was very nice and the kids lived in the pool. The house is 3 blocks from a beautiful beach which was an easy walk. They provided beach chairs but you can also rent chairs and umbrellas right at the beach. If we return to San Juan, we will book again!

Fantastic stay in San Juan!

We had an amazing time during our stay at this beautiful home. We can't say enough about the owner and manager- they were so friendly, helpful and accommodating!! The house is just as advertised- clean, comfortable and well appointed. We would recommend this property to anyone!! Thank you for a great vacation:):)

Great hidden gem

There was plenty of room for the 11 of us. Quick walk to the beach. When we had a issue they were very responsive. Definitely recommend for an adult family vacation.

Lovely Home

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! There was a group of 10 of us who stayed and this property checked all the boxes. The home is spacious and the backyard is an absolute oasis. Ruben the property manager was 10/10! So helpful and communicative! The acs are ice cold and kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils for cooking. We are already talking about coming back soon.

Weekend with friends

We chose Villa Catalina as it looked ideal for our group of 7. My husband and I and 5 friends went for a long weekend. There was enough space for everyone to have their own room. The backyard was ideal for relaxing in the afternoon. Plenty of room for us all to gather or enjoy the pool. The house is located walking distance to excellent restaurants and the beach and only a 20 minute drive to Old San Juan.

Great place to stay in good location.

Stayed here for a bachelor party. The owner of the property had an assistant that was great with recommendations and giving us a tour of the house. Only minor complaint was I didn’t hear anything about the house (such as address or check in process) till the day of, something I wish would have occurred sooner. Otherwise, we were right by the airport, beach, and a few great restaurants. I never felt unsafe either!

Extended family vacation, grandparents, parents and grandkids.

The patio with all areas to relax in was excellent. The living room furniture was difficult for grandparents (me) to get in and out of. The number of bathrooms and bedrooms met our needs. The drains were a bit slow but we made do. Not a deal breaker. Appliances were excellent. We did not use dishwasher. An easy walk to the beach. It was nice to have a garage and parking space. The host furnishing beach towels and chairs was a plus.

Our Bachelorette Dream House!

We were a group of friends for a bachelorette and this house was perfect! We used every space in the house, the pool, the kitchen, the living room, the outdoor dining. The rooms were spacious with great bedding, two rooms had their private bathrooms, each room had its own a/c. They had everything you needed and the attention to detail was impressive. The ambiance of the house was very relaxing, we wanted to stay in the pool all day. It was a 2 minute walk from the house to the beach, they provided beach chairs and towels and we always felt safe. It was a 10 min uber to Old San Juan and Condado. Great location, close to the airport, house manager answered all our questions. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Spot

We recently stayed at Villa Catalina and we were impressed. The home was clean and spatious. The pool was just enough to have fun on the hot days of Summer (which we love). We had 9 People with 2 families and Grandparents. Ruben, the property manager, was great and very responsive. He offered us great ideas for visiting San Juan from local restaurants to visiting Old San Juan and the El Yunque rain forest. The Beach is just a short walk away and was beautiful. Beach chairs and a cooler were also available at the house. We had a great week of vacation and look forward to visiting again in the future. Thanks to Jose for sharing your house and Ruben for managing it and all the employees of Sunset Playa!

Spacious and Modern Beach House with Great Location

Our stay at the Isla Verde Beach House was a delightful experience. The house itself was spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, perfectly accommodating our large family. The private pool added an extra touch of luxury and fun for everyone. Pros: Spacious and Modern: The house was roomy and stylish, providing ample space for our entire family to relax and enjoy. Great Location: Situated in a prime spot, the house was conveniently close to the beach, making our seaside outings effortless and frequent. Helpful Host: Jose, our host, was incredibly helpful. He provided us with a comprehensive list of MUST Do's in the area, which was a fantastic resource for exploring and enjoying our vacation to the fullest. Cons: Cleanliness Issues: Upon arrival, we noticed that the house wasn't as clean as expected. We cleaned and sent Jose all the pictures of how the house was found (we didn't contact him until the end of our trip) he assured us that he would address this with the cleaning company. Limited Towels: There weren't enough towels or wash cloth provided for our large group, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, despite a few minor issues, our stay at the Isla Verde Beach House was wonderful. The combination of a great location, modern amenities, and Jose's Must Do List made our vacation memorable. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Perfect house for big groups

Our family of 13 fit easily in this house and 4 bathrooms were very useful. The walk to the beach was just minutes away. There were beach chairs available for our use but we found it easier to rent big chairs and umbrellas on the beach very cheaply. The pool and backyard were wonderful and getting around by Uber worked great. I would highly recommend this house but would suggest replacing the shampoo dispensers in the showers as they are rusting so we used our own shampoo.

The house is better in real life than in the photos!

The house looks great online, but it's even better in person! The owner was very responsive via email, and property manager Ruben was very responsive via text. Ruben let us check-in early, met us at the property, and showed us around the property. There were eight adults, and we fit very comfortably in the house. The backyard is very big, with several places to sit and with a nice pool. The house is a couple blocks from Isla Verde Beach on one side and Avenida Isla Verde on the other side. This was the first time for most of us to Puerto Rico, and we have done dozens of trips together. We all agreed that this is the nicest house we've ever shared. It has easy access to the beach, food, and casinos and with quick access to the freeways via Uber. We highly recommend this house!

Amazing house
