Welcome to Villa Catalina, a beautiful, newly refurbished beach house with pool, just steps from Isla Verde Beach, selected by USA Today in 2016 as one of the best Urban beaches in the world.

(THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA, CLOSE TO OTHER HOMES.

SORRY, NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED.

NO MUSIC OR OUTSIDE LOUD NOISE PERMITTED AT NIGHT.)

The villa may accommodate a total of up to 14 persons in six bedrooms and 4 full baths- 9 beds, 5 queen, 4 bunk beds.

It is in a perfect location due to;

1 proximity to the beach, only 1 minute walk.

2 proximity to restaurants, hotels, night life, bars, grocery store, pharmacy and shops, all within couple minutes walking distance.

3 10 min drive to any major attraction in San Juan such as Old San Juan, Condado and La Placita de Santurce.

The villa is fully ac'd, has good wifi, and cable tv.

It also has a pool, power generator and water cistern.

The host was not responsive to the property manager while we were there. The room I was in, the air conditioner unit, never worked and the temporary solution was to leave the door open and utilize the living room air conditioner unit. That was not an option as we had 10 other people there. The garage code stopped working, but the manager did try you fix it. The pool was so dirty we could not swim in it. The property manager was fired during our stay, and the host still did not contact us until I called VRBO twice, and only responded to my messages 1 hour before checkout. The mosquitoes were relentless!The property itself is very nice. Inside and out (except the pool). The location and proximity to the beach and area activities was great for entertainment and leisure. The failure here was the lack of communication with the host and their relationship with his property manager.

I stayed here for my bachelorette with a group of 10 women and all of them had nothing but positive things to say about the property. Beach was right there, breakfast options around the corner and casino/restaurants all within a 10 min walk. Jonathan was extremely accommodating the entire time and communication was easy throughout out stay. We had a small issue with the AC unit in one of the rooms and Jonathan had scheduled maintenance and fixed the issue within the hour. We didn't even have to be there. From the mango tree in the pool area, to beach chairs in the garage, and the abundance of pool towels, I feel like everything had been thought of to make our stay this enjoyable. For checkout, typically there are a myriad of directions; take out the trash, strip the beds, do the dishes, etc. Jonathan had no requests for us and simply hoped we had a fabulous stay. Of course we cleaned up after ourselves, but to not have to think if we missed a step in the process was so refreshing. Thank you Jonathan for making my bachelorette so special and relaxing!

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home nestled in Isla Verde. I hosted a women’s retreat here and everyone was in love with the beauty of this home. The home is absolutely stunning with very calming decor and has all the amenities you need to complete you stay. The host responds very quickly and is very hospitable. The house host, Ruben, was very friendly, courteous and really makes you feel welcomed.You will not be disappointed if you choose this space for your vacation spot! It truly was a wonderful place to be!

Outstanding visit from beginning to end. The host met us at the property and explained how everything worked, left us a gift basket, recommended local restaurants and things to do. The house was very clean and everything needed was present. AC worked great and backyard was an awesome place to hang out. We had a minor issue with a door closing and I notified the host and he was there 2 hours later to fix it. Highly recommend!!

Our family of 12 stayed here and had an amazing time! The house is even better in person. The outdoor space was so nice for early morning coffee, dinners, and game nights. The kitchen was very well equipped, water hot and beds comfortable. The amazing beach is only 4 minutes away. The grocery store is very convenient as well. Highly recommend! Rubin is very responsive to any needs/ concerns.

The villa was real nice inside but the outside needed work. There's stray cats in the area and they pee and poop in the yard and on the outside furniture. The smell is pretty bad at times. We had to use towels over the outdoor couches as they were pretty stained. The outdoor loungers and chairs were real dirty too, looked like mold. The pool was pretty dirty also. Thankfully we found a skimmer to use while we were in it. They didn't have the pool skimmer open so we had to manually skim it ourselves. We received a nice welcome basket but no one to show us around the property, just a long text explaining what to do. On our last day i found remotes for the outside fans so we could've turned off the lights and kept the fans running. That would've helped at night with bugs. The property manager did not respond right away to texts. The property is in a good location for food and the beach.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

Had a wonderful stay at Villa Catalina. The house was perfect for our party of 13. We made good use of the pool and nearby beach each day. The house was well appointed and the property manager was very helpful.

I can also offer this unique experience to my guests in a luxurious, large and comfortable property, just steps from one of the nicest beaches in the area.

I bought this property mostly because of its location , right next to Isla Verde's beach, its beauty and layout, with great backyard , terrace and pool area, and finally great comfort.
