Beautiful Private Apartment in a gated condominium located just in a 5 minutes’ walk from one of the greatest beaches in Lagos " Porto de Mós " and set in a touristic complex called “Vila Mós” previously run by “Sun Place Hotels”. This is a perfect place for a family and friends’ holiday, as guests can take advantage of its, mature gardens, children and adults outdoor swimming pool, and kid’s playground. This is a very spacious one bedroomed apartment comprised of; one bedroom with king size bed, fitted wardrobe, shower room, large living room, with sofa that can be converted to two single beds, kitchen and a nice balcony from where you can enjoy the nice sea and surrounding views.

Excellent accommodation

We stayed here for 70 nights. Pre arrival communication was easy and smooth, the accommodation was clean and as explained. The best location for us, quiet, private and yet close enough to walk to the places.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our 2 month stay at Vila Mos (Feb/Mar). The unit was basic but had everything we needed. Location was excellent. View from the balcony was amazing. We liked being close to beach with 2 terrific restaurants, within walking distance to small convenience store that had everything you need, and about a 5 min drive to town centre.

You'll enjoy Casita da Silva

We are coming back! The apartment is located in easy going building with pool, gym, private parking and easy access to the beach Praia da Mos. The apartment is well equipped for cooking, bathing etc. We had ample space for our family of four: two adults and two children aged 9 and 13. The apartment is on the ground floor and the veranda extends to a lawn giving more space to everyone. However, be aware of the garden sprinkler! It goes off during the night and if the clothes rack is placed to close to the grass, your clothes will be more wet in the morning than when you placed them their the night before. I knew and still managed to forget my beach towel on a lawn chair. The location has easy access to both supermarket and restaurants within walking distance and easy drive to explore the coast further or the city of Lagos. We received good tips on what to do and see. The friendly and helpful property manager gave us great tips and showed us around the property and facilities. Next time we'll stay longer than five days to explore more things in the Lagos area.

We are residents in South Africa. Lourdes was born in Mozambique but moved to Durban, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, as a baby. Victor was born in Portugal and moved to Lourenco Marques, Mozambique when he was 4. Unfortunately Victor had to leave Mozambique in 1974 during the civil war, and relocated to Durban, Kwazulu Natal where we met, and then married in December 1984.
We are proud parents of three children and a son in law. Our twin daughters, who are now 30 are both civil engineers and living in Cambridge UK. We also have a 29 year old son, also a civil engineer who lives in Johannesburg. We have been blessed with a grandson who is now 5 months old, and he is in Cambridge with his parents.
We are business owners of two companies. One is a company that sells spares, and heavy duty filtration for heavy duty machinery. The other company is a Plant Hire company with excavators and TLBs.

Why they chose this property

Since we are getting older, we have decided to start looking at a retirement plan, and what better place than going back to our roots to Portugal. We both like milder weather, and having both grown up near the sea, we settled on beautiful Lagos when we can speak our mother tongue and still communicate with the visitors who are visiting this beautiful region more and more.
