The Summit at Tops’l 212 is a second-floor condo in Tops'l Beach and Racquet Resort with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. This home features new flooring, a full kitchen with a new dishwasher, stackable washer/dryer, granite countertops, double vanities in the master bedroom, and a balcony that is accessible from the living room and master suite! With a king bed in the master and twin beds in the second guest room, this lovely space sleeps 4. Make this your next beach vacation, and you'll be just steps from the pool and a short stroll (about 400 yards) to the beach!

At the highest point of Tops’l Beach and Racquet Resort, The Summit is right in the middle of 52 beautifully landscaped acres bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and Topsail Hill State Preserve. There are 600 feet of private, sugar white beaches and amenities galore including a Pool, Kiddie Pool, Hot Tub, Community Grills, and Walking and Jogging Trails, making The Summit at Tops'l the place for the perfect beach vacation!

The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or another flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Great service. Whenever we needed something - they bring it. Apartment ts are well designed and clean. The only negative part - neighbors were smoking, couldn't stay on the balcony or keep the door open.

We visited through March 25 to April 1st. We've always come to the Destin area but never this particular resort property. We will now always choose Tops'l first for every visit. Very cute property, very secluded you hardly see other families. Lovely beach with chairs half the cost of the more busier beaches. Only thing I could consider improving is the lack of signs posted and more walk ways to utilize. Oh, and please heat the pools next time? ♡ (could explain why we never really saw other vacationers during our stay, we felt like royalty)

The unit was clean and comfortable when we arrived and check in was a breeze! However this unit is not beach view and the walk to the beach was a hike. This unit does not have access to the fitness center on the property, which was a little disappointing. There is a good walking trail around the property and provided a good way to start the day. The pool area was nice and the beach was beautiful, even was able to see a manatee passing thru on Monday. Just be prepared to haul beach items back and forth. Liked the location in the eastern part of a very busy area.

Great location & beautiful property

Pros: beautiful resort, quick, easy walk to the beach, 2 nice pools to choose from, pool bar & bathroom available right off the beach, room was as pictured, plenty of luggage carts, easy checkin process. Big bonus: there’s a natural reserve next to this property with no high rises to one side so it doesn’t feel like the beach is over crowded. Cons: the mattress in the master needs a serious upgrade - no one wants to sleep on a crappy mattress while on vacation. The toilet in the master whistled every time you flushed: there’s not good drainage in shower either. No fun showering in standing water. Kitchen was pretty well stocked but no bowls or Tupperware that had lids.

This condo was beautiful, we were all disappointed when we looked off the balcony all you seen was trees. We decided to go to the beach little did we know how actual far of a walk it was. When we got to the beach and got everything set up. We were approached by somebody who helps with the properties. He told us we were not allowed to sit where we were because it was for owners only and that we couldn’t have our tent. They put that rule in place earlier that year. We were never informed in the listing or anything about the tent so we had to rent umbrellas for 30 dollars a day. Before we left we were sent a message saying to make sure all liens and towels were washed there was no trash or anything like that or you would get charged. Which we planned on doing before we left. We had to tell them what time we left to help the cleaning services. It could have definitely been better. They should at least put more detail in the description.

This unit is outdated and not very safe! Horrible experience while staying. The bathtubs are ancient and unlike any I have seen. Very easy to fall while showering bc the tub is angled on both sides in both bathrooms. My husband slipped and been hurting ever since then! We were woke up Saturday morning at around 330 am with the fire alarm… fire trucks came and left but the fire alarm pierced our ears for 2 hours!!!!!! It was not relaxing at all! Also, the agency called on Friday and ask us to vacate the unit so they could show the property at 11am???? REALLY?????? We declined bc we had paid in advance and thought it was very rude to call and ask us to do that! Maybe don’t advertise it for rent if you want to entertain buyers! We will NEVER stay here again! We did enjoy other areas of Miramar Beach but not this one! Photos show the beach… they walked a long distance or drove to take those pictures bc you CAN NOT SEE THE WATER from this room! I do not believe you could see the water from any room in this building! Very outdated! Our neighbors had no fridge and sink was clogged and were told sorry by maintenance and never had a working fridge! BEWARE!!

The condo unit was nice and would stay there again but could give some instructions. All 3 TV's had 3 controllers to work them. Finally got two of them to work and the one in the master bedroom never could get to work. If you gave instructions how to use the TV that would be very helpful. Also, could not get the dish washer to turn on so did dishes by hand. The master bedroom lamp shade was falling apart and there was a large medal ring of some sort on the master bedroom bed when we arrived which I placed that it the closet. The closet in the master bedroom is hard to open. Does not want to move on the track. And when removed the covers for bed there was a brown something possible a bug in the bed that was smashed. So I hoped the sheets had been changed? Took a picture if you want to see it. And the drain in the master bathroom drains very slow, you are up with water over your ankles before you complete your shower. Otherwise it was a great condo, a map of the property would of helped. Also, we got a text after we already had checked out to move the patio furniture inside because of the hurricane coming, so hopeful house keeping took care of that. Thank you for the use of the condo. Prayers going your way because of the hurricane.

Perfect getaway

We booked this at the last-minute for spring break. Although we didn’t have an ocean view, we enjoyed the tropical view with gorgeous landscape. The wind made a soft rustling noise of the palms and was very relaxing to hear and see. The entire condo is furnished beautifully in soothing colors and comfortable beds and furniture. It contained everything we needed to prepare meals from home as well. The Ocean Club restaurant near the front entrance was a true treat! It featured an elegant atmosphere and delicious food. Get there between 5-6pm for two-for-one dinner specials. We also truly enjoyed the ocean-front grill by the pool. My friend said the shrimp and cheese quesadilla was the best she’s ever had! Our teens enjoyed the many amenities of the property. We brought our own basketball, golf clubs and balls, they also rode bikes and played volleyball. There’s so much to do! The beach is simply the best part of this location. The powder-soft sand and clear water is some of the most beautiful you’ll experience in the entire world.

Nice property with some minor things

We've been visiting Tops'l resort every summer since 2015 and I can say the summit 212 was one of the best properties I've experienced. The property itself was very clean and well organized with a nice tile floor. But before leaving the vacation, it was so hard for us to communicate with the property manager to ask about the availability of the swimming pool due to the COVID19 situation. I was so worried if there is a restriction for using the swimming pool until I've arrived at the property. Fortunately, we could use the swimming pool and had lots of fun. I would say it was a very enjoyable vacation for my family. Here I am adding some cons of this unit. 1. The bedsheets and covers had bed smell and it seemed that they do not wash them every time, which was a bit disappointing us. 2. The dishwasher was not stable. Sometimes it worked well, but sometimes it didn't. 3. They provided dishwasher soap and detergent but didn't give scrubber or sponge. When the dishwasher didn't work, we had to clean dishes by our hands and it was really hard to do it without scrubber. 4. Accessibility to the beach is good, but if you want to use your own beach wares (if you don't want to reserve the parasol), you should walk a lot to set your place right in front of the ocean. Good places are limited only for the rental business. So children might feel really tired.

very nice area & property

We enjoyed our stay at Tops'l Beach & Racquet Club. It reminded me of Palmetto Dunes in HHI... very convenient to Baytown Wharf, shopping centers & dining. The room was nice, however, it could use some updating. The carpet is getting worn and the blinds in the master bedroom and at the sliding glass doors need updated. We could not keep the ceiling fan in the master bedroom on at night as the blinds swung around and made noise. Also, the bedding in the master bedroom could be updated... the comforter looked very worn (we did not use) and the master bath had no towel bar. Other than that, it was a great stay and experience. We really liked the area, Sandestin and not being far from Seaside, Watercolor and Rosemary to venture to at night.
